Turn 5 is a pain but 6 and 7 are great. Bit like after the corkscrew at Laguna.

any times yet at Bugatti? i just ran a couple laps to find my top speed in the Aston, and its a few mph's off from the front strech at Nurburg Gp Short. at Nurburg, i was tipping the scale at 151mph going into the brake zone for turn 1. at Bugatti, im only hitting 146/147, but im pushing the Aston's braking limits at 147 into the first schicane. wasnt really paying much attention to the kind of lap times i was putting down though. i'll have another go later

1:46:xx im happy cos i found what was kinda slowing my car down! the frigging front caster!! so i upped it and i was like...damn!! its not majorly fast but its good for the really big corners at bugatti!

You can overdo it but you can't really go wrong with the caster. Increases camber through turns with no negative effect on straight line braking.

yeah i know i will try different setups but ive always been having at around 4.2 and i though the lower you go the better it is but i read the thing where it tells you what it does and thought "you stupid friggin muppet!! why didnt i do this ages ago!"

I meant 44's. Down to 42.9 with a different build and far from perfect gearing. You can probably put more than 3/4 of the caster on quite happily.

ok thanks for the advice will try it out later! i might try put a bit more power on the lotus so im faster down the straights as thats the only place where i fall down

also johnny, that 1.43.1 is the only one I've done and I'm more likely to be averaging 1.45/6's during the race mate. This car is a right dog ;O(

Just had a crack at the 402 tune Magic and done a 43:117 I think with a couple more tweeks it might creep into the 42's but its easy to make a mistake in that car.

Well after 26 laps around Catalunya I have done a clean 1:17:387!! Pretty impressed and the car feels good!! But I know all the others are gonna get about 2 or 3 seconds faster because of their speed on the straight!

But the Lotus is much much better through the turns and it does even itself out on most tracks. I got a 1:16:4 pre season...
