why dont we do a f1 and make the 2 striaghts the only passing places for this round? a bit like the moveable wing in f1, itll be safer.

F1 doesn't have that.

I'll overtake wherever I want to.

I wont be waiting for the straights, I wont be stupid but om not hanging around either.

yep i wont be waiting either, you can't afford to with the race being based on time you have to take every chance whilst lapping traffic or it could be extremely costly!

Accidents are excusable but stupidity isn't. We all know where we are racing at and where to pass. If someone mashes me doing something dumb I'm going to make sure they find the wall hard in the same incident. They can join me being pissed and not finishing

Please remember guys you can all talk to each other and advise of where we are any collisons in this race will not be taken lighty.

Thank you Chucky. Pretty hard to win a race in one corner but it's really easy to lose it. I'm content running single file until someone screws up

I just know Im gonna be busy after this race. But I cant wait for it as im sure it will be a good race aswell

i,ve a funny line going into the first corner,i go out really wide and then cut in to the inside i,m sure someone is going to dive up the inside and be totally wiped out by me when turning in.Question is ,who fault would it be,there,s for being aggressive or mine for taking my fastest line

May have to change that line and eat the tenth or so until you're ahead enough to run that line. Someone will try to duck

In all honesty this race can be as hecktic or as easy going as you guys make it, if you anounce your presance well in advance of being somewhere and both give enough room then this race will be fine. as for those guys who want to do idiotic moves like late breaking and last minute dives to the inside of corners you will be the reason the race doesnt work. it's about making ur presance known guys, dont expect people to be looking in their mirrors the whole race because it's not going to happen.

Right up to the point where you turn in on someone....then it's the damage that slows you down!

The other persons responsibility is to let you know they are there. If I turn into someone that never said they were beside me it's their fault. Running that high line and giving someone inside position there isn't good in traffic. If that person holds they can get on the throttle faster being on the outside of turn 2 because they can see the corner exit and be inside on the small turn 3 where you have to be inside to hold on the track

Guys its all about communication, letting people know where you are is key however looking as well as communication is vital but if you all follow your lines, communicate with one another then there shall be no issues.

Yes, but leaving the door wide open by taking a wide entry, then slamming into the side of someone who takes a tight apex up the inside is just silly. The person on the outside has the responsibility to not run into the guy on the inside, and vice versa, the guy on the inside has to stay tight and not run out into the guy on the outside.

We do have the advantage of communication between drivers, but in real life you wouldn't. Some situational awareness never goes amiss. Duncan and I for example, have managed to run side by side for almost a full lap of La Sarthe in the R10s last year, with no contact or calling of track position at all.

How bout the one round road atlanta in the dtms last week where duncan went off re joined the track right infront of you and caused you to crash into him lol
