the link on the xcm main page says it can be pre-orded on extreme-mods.com, but i checked that site thouroughly, and couldnt find it. i think there are a couple other sites

I hope they ship to the UK, this is a must buy. I just hope it's fully functional. Looks like it does Xbox-PS3 controller swaps as well.

I dunno what a Brink is Pebb, but if this lets me use my G27 on Forza 3 I will pay any money for it.

I was meant to say brick, also you wouldn't be able to use a wired headset on it.

The G25/G27 does not have any FFB drivers available on the 360, so it really is pointless

FFB is possible.

So since our posting of the XCM F1 converter, we were asked whether the device will support G25/G27 force feedback on the Xbox 360. And the answer we received from XCM is a simple one - no... unless! Unless the games themselves support force feedback, then XCM may issue firmware updates for the converter to make it happen.

got an email reply from the folks at xcm. it stated that their techs are working on a firmware update so it'll work with FFB.

Here's what they said in the body of the email back:

We are now trying our best to let it work on force feedback , our tech. are busy to work on it in these days, the released date will be a bit delay due to upgrade the firmware so it may available on next Tuesday, you can check from our resellers for the price, thanks

I'd really like to buy a DFGT, the G27 is way out of my range, and the DFGT looks pretty sweet, plus I can use it for GPL and LFS.

DFGT definately looks the more realistic option.. From what i've read the G25/27 just happens to work on GT5 and its not officially fully supported.

Its crazy turn10 stand up saying forza is the ultimate racing game and we have no mid price wheel with force feedback..

This XCM thing looks great, i tried something similar for a keyboard and mouse thought it would be useful for FPS (Ex PC FPS player). just didn't sit right, it worked.. but i just decided to stick with the controller - its an xbox not a PC get used to it.

I'll be interested to keep reading about this, but it must have real force feedback or its a logitech FX for a lump more.
