lookin good Louis. im curious, what does it cost for a kart and the upkeep?

it all depends on what kind of chassis you get (brand and if it's used or new) a new chassis will go for about 5,000 american, used (depending who used it) will go for 500-2,000 if you ever come accross a $500 chassis, as good a deal as it sounds DON'T GET IT! odds are it had the crap ran out of it by a big team in a big event and is now a poo chassis. k chassis done now engine, a brand new engine depending on what engine you get is $1,200- 3,500. So yes karting is the cheapest way to go racing but it is still not cheap. oh new set of tires for each race weekend? $200-400 fuel by the galon is $12.50 hotel is about $70 a night (3 nights here in FL for the FKCS) and then travel costs to and from event and finally your food intake for the trip. so yeah quite expensive eh?
