I know, but for you to play on xbox is as easy as putting a CD you already own. For the rest of us to join you on the PC would require buying the game outright, and before that, a better PC!!

I'd rather not spend close to a grand just to play with you and Richy!

As Simon says, it's not worth it to purchase an expensive PC just to play Battlefield 3 with yourself and Richard. Plus, being a poor peasant, I can't really afford such a thing.

I wouldnt recommend any EA or Codemasters games pre owned anymore as it will cost you £8 for the online pass which you will get with new copy. A new one was down to £25 for LE last time i looked.

Had good fun with you guys last night, even if it was major pain for the last match where I got switched to the other team and couldn't change because of team balancing. Finally starting hitting back once I broke out the DAO-12!!

Apologies for disappearing without so much as a 'goodbye' - as the game was finishing one of the dogs started going mental, by the time I'd sorted him out I didn't really have the desire for being humiliated again.

Yes, I think you got me a few times with that!

@Jono - I don't get a very good kill/death ratio either (think I was 13/30 in that game), but great thing with Battlefield is (especially in objective modes like Conquest) that it's not all about how many kills you get. I spent most of the match disabling and blowing up tanks and vehicles, capturing the objective point and spotting enemies, and ended up as MVP with the most points even though I didn't get many kills. Very much a team game - we pulled that game back from the brink, nearly 100 points behind and won it by about 6 points in the end, by locking down 3 of the capture points and holding our ground!

Yeah - couldn't believe we managed to win that in the end!

To be fait I've never played Battlefield or COD nearly enough to compete with the top level guys, they've always been stress releivers for me

I made my usual mistake of trying to get involved in the middle of the action right away - as I have pretty much none of the unlockable weapons I get completely over-run. My only kills tend to be when I stumble across someone and panic with my gun pointing in vaguely the right direction.

I ended up sniping from a safe distance and spotting incoming trouble - it tends to help prolong my life

I shouldn't really mention it, but in an earlier game last night, there was just myself on one team with Simon and CQR Magic on the other. And I beat them both!!!!!

Anyway, I'll be on after 8. Got a couple of things to sort out first before I join you.
