Trevor Bayne wins.. wow..

The thing that struck me the most was how similar the race was to a Stock Car race at Sunset on Forza The two car drafting thing... wow

Congratulations to Trevor Bayne. youngest driver to win the 500 (had his 20th birthday yesterday; previous youngest winner was Jeff Gordon @ 25yrs & so many days)

and to see the famous Wood Brothers Ford win is an awesome sight

i think, nicky, how these cars are built now in nascar wont work well with more than 2 anymore. its quite a coincidence if ya ask me.

that young'in has definitely got his name out there now. Originally, he hadnt had a full season schedule set for the Sprint Cup. that may change now

Jamie McMurray won his 2nd ever Winston/Nextel/Sprint Cup race ever subbing for Sterling Marlin (recovering from an injury/illness, cannot remember) at Charlotte/Lowe's, but obviously Trevor's 2nd race/1st win is going to be better remembered IMO. and Jamie won the 500 last year if im not mistaken

everyone loves, magical trevor..

the only thing trevor did wrong, was trying to do a burnout on the 18-degrees of banking at the start/finish. should've done it on the aprin, would've been nicer.

I usually don't get into it or like NASCAR as much as I used to but this was a good one. I used to attend quite a few races and my step dad usually gets infield passes whenever we want (he heads the military division of the company that tows all the wrecked cars). The new track surface causing the two man tango was good stuff. Then the guy I cheer for today wins!! He's from just north of me and I latched on to the kid. Man he can drive and raced with his head quite a bit. If I could have only gotten to see someone punch one of those Busch brothers in the mouth it would have been perfect.

I saw the very beginning and aparently 3-4hrs later I saw the end!
The final few laps were incredible. Big kudos to Trev for winning that. You could see the guys in 3rd and 4th were going to make the move up the inside and he read that really well and dropped down to block. Awesome driving, amazing win

They have to figure out the caution issue though

Yeah, 15 cautions. The previous record was 11..

Although the two car drafting does lend itself to cautions, it just takes one driver to tweak the guy infront of him into a spin.

.... as we saw a fair few times. Well, the second pair hitting the rear of the first pair and spinning one of them off.

Yeah, you can always tell when something is going wrong. When Busch fell off the back of Smith and got backed up into Jr and Stewart, I just knew something was going down.

Montoya made an awesome save when he hit Biffle out of four, which was very cool.

Busch did that intentionally to Stewart and Junior. Both times they had a run he backed off his guy to block. He is a moron and always does crap that puts the safety of everyone behind him at risk. He lifted on the outside the first time and caused the later accident when Stewart rammed him. This is what Junior referred to as "funny business" after the race when he bit his tongue.
