Hey Rob,

Yep Le Man's this year is going to great.

Still shocked by no Drayson racing, although I did google news search for them the other day and they have singed a joint venture with a UK university for R&D for next stage of bio fuel, so I guess they are taking time off for this R&D "Rubish powered cars" from what I hear, I excpet to see them later in the year.

Intresting that Highcroft steped back up 2 P1, going to be tight battle, just how much performance balancing takes place between the D and P after SPA in time for lemans will be intresting, as I cant see PGT and Audi runing full pace at spa.

But looks great, no idea where the porshce hybrids dispared 2? maybe make a similar appernce with 918 spyder Hybrid later or bring back the 911 hybrid, though I still belive Porsche to go back to P1 in the next few years with a hybrid P1 once Audi factory team stop at lemans, cant see audi vs porsche not very good marketing (due to manfacture ties)

Though what are thoughts on N24 this year? We have the Ferrari P4/5 concept along with a number of other manfactures including the first run for the 918 RSR?

Hi Duncan thanks for taking the time to read the blog.

the n24 is a great race for the manufacturers to try new vehicles for future major competitive racing the Ferrari p4/5 looks stunning as does the 918 RSR.

I dont think Audi vs Porsche will be a titanic battle but im with you on the point about it not working as good marketing.

Finally my prediction for the 79th running of the 24 hours of le mans if the ACO have equalised the petrols and diesels and both Audi and Peugeot using closed cockpits i think this year will be the closest ever race yet.

if you would all like to hear more about le mans and many other motorsports i present a weekly radio show between 5 and 8pm you can listen on the internet via www.rsab.org.

you can also e mail via robmoore@rsab.org with items to to put in the show whether it is latest news opinions on events recently taken place or your opinion on recent news.

would be happy to hear from you. all

thanks

Hey Rob,

Cheers yes will have listen to your podcast Smile

By the way I was on about Petrol VS Deisel for 2011, Aston twin turbo V6 may arrive soon no sign of it yet and sebring is 3weeks away, may have to may a vist to prodrive test facility in warickshire the wknd

Porsche would never fight Audi now in P1 due to the parent company deals Sad

Also our Podcast is vilable off Itunes and our tempory website.

If you would like to do a possible tie in with either of our pocasts please contact me.

Kind regards

Duncan Ray
