Revision 2.0
MSA TORA GT1 World Championship
Platform - Xbox 360
Game - Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed
Rules and Regulations
The series is open to three-driver teams, of which in each round the two top-scoring driver's points will go towards the team's championship. All standard TORA racing rules apply.
Each meeting will involve two rounds of the championship:
-Qualification will be determined by using the 'Time Attack' game mode. Time will be set to 10 minutes. Times will be taken at the end of the session.
-There will be two races, a 6 lap Sprint Race followed by an 16 lap Feature Race.
-The races will be set to 8 and 18 laps. This is to allow for a rolling outlap and an inlap. The first lap will be used to set the grid from the qualification results and the race will start under a rolling start. Competitors will begin lining up for the start towards the end of the lap. The lead driver will back the pack up to 80mph and he is then able to start the race anytime after the pit entry and the start/finish straight by shouting 'Go'. The Race will end at the end of Lap 17 and drivers will wait for everybody to catch up so that everybody finishes the race. You must cross the line at the end of lap 18 in your finishing order.
-Race One will be a Qualification race, set to 6 racing laps. The finishing positions of Race One will determine the grid for Race Two.
-Race Two will consist of 16 racing laps.
-Both races will start from a rolling start.
-Points will be available for the top 3 drivers in each lobby of the Qualification Race. 1st will score 5, 2nd will score 3 and 3rd will score 1. This is incentive to race for position rather than just setting a grid.
-The Feature Race is scored using the standard TORA points system.
-The Race results are determined by your finishing order and lobby order, not by time.
-There will be one dropped round in this series.
-As GT racing is a non contact sport incidents which endanger you or another competitor will be referred to the head steward and appropriate action will be taken.
