Re: Super Fun Orienteering Thread.
I thought I would go with something a bit easier to start off with, just trying the UK. Funny thing is, it's put me in Northampton which is right next to me.
This will be a bit harder than I thought, it's started me in an industrial estate.

Re: Super Fun Orienteering Thread.
it's only fun if you get put in someplace with intersections...i got put in the middle of texas and then got bored after 5 minutes and then looked on google maps and realized that i would be clicking for about another 60 miles before i hit houston...

Re: Super Fun Orienteering Thread.
I'm still going, I'm now somewhere I know... just cruising down the A428 for the people that know this area. Still got about another 15-20 miles to go, although I'm 100% sure this road takes me to my home town.

Re: Super Fun Orienteering Thread.
Ok, so I thought something hard would be better. DO NOT TRY JAPAN!
I really am lost, starts you off in some forest on some mountain and well it's not like I can read the sign posts....this is where I am at the moment. I've been going for about 10 mins of constant clicking, I've seen 1 car and no humans.

I'm still going through forest... I've now come across some Jap enjoying the roads in his MX-5 and this abandoned...which doesn't surprise me. I would rather walk too.

Re: Super Fun Orienteering Thread.
Good news! I went through a toll and have now come across a fairly promising sign...
I know there is an airport is Okayama but I'm fairly sure there is at Hiroshima aswell. 32Km sounds much better than 215.

Re: Super Fun Orienteering Thread.
Damn that looks nice.
I'm stuck...Google leaves me no choice but to get off at this junction. I'll see if I can come back up the other side though.
edit: Ok, so I've now had to go round these most confusing roads and I'm at the toll to get into Togouchi.
edit2: Back on the road, though no idea if I'm going the right way yet. Not seen a sign with any English on. It's constant tunnels, doesn't say where but says how long they are. Its 1000m tunnel then you spend about 50m out and then your back into a 1000m tunnel...and repeat...many times.
edit3: heading towards, Hiroshima Okayama.

Re: Super Fun Orienteering Thread.
Given up... My camera car seems to have fallen off the bridge. Pretty annoyed as I spent long enough on it...had a quick look on google maps and it appears I was just entering Hiroshima city. Which means I wasn't far from the airport.

Re: Super Fun Orienteering Thread.
I tried this and decided to start here in the US. It stuck me downtown in some city with intersections and decisions right from the get go. I couldn't see trees or anything to tell where I was in the US. I decided to make a right at the first intersection and what did it put me behind?? A Corona (beer) truck in front of Buffalo Wild Wings(i didn't make that up)! After stumbling out piss drunk I climbed back in my car and took off headed to the home I have but had no clue where I was. I just drove straight and found a savior in Main St. Those always lead to interstates and that means I can get a read on where I am. I found the interstate quickly and it was I-95. This doesn't help as I-95 goes from Florida to New York City that I know of so I keep on clicking and find a sign that says Richmond. Bingo I'm in Virginia. I made a U-turn and headed south on I-95 and quit. I know how to drive home from there. It's a 9 hour drive or so, didn't want to click that long.
Next try I clicked North America and it stuck me on some little road that had children playing in it with a black dog. I seriously did circles for 10 minutes before I found a way out then did more circles and couldn't find my way out. I unclicked the hide location button and found out I was in the middle of Canada. The closest anything was Toronto and I gave up. Fun stuff though

Changi South Avenue -> Changi Business Park Vista
Wait a minute!!! driving on the left hand side? Europe?
I cant stay on Changi Business Park Vista road, the arrows wont let me, and I appear to be going back to where I started.
