Nicky, we have no entry from you for this series. What is it you plan on driving, under which name, and in what category?

Re: NGTC Meeting 6 Discussion Thread - Motegi East
Disappointing turn out for this. 7 cars ran in the feature race. While I understand there are other things going on in people's lives, it'd be nice if when you commit to running in a series, you turn up for it. I had to pull my car over and go and help my girlfriend get an injection, but I still turned up and raced.
Thanks to the people who turned out, and those that forewarned us they'd not be there. It saved time setting up lobbies and sending out invites, even though we still had to wait for the numerous ones that went unanswered.

Re: NGTC Meeting 6 Discussion Thread - Motegi East
@ Scot - Believe me. I know how disappointing it can be when hardly anyone turns up to a race meeting. However, we can't force people to race against their will.
There are many reasons why people don't want to or can't make it to the race meetings. But we can't slag them off. That only drives people further away even more. People do have their reasons, lets just respect that instead of being sarcastic against people.
But many thanks and well done to those who did turn up tonight.

Dan, did you read my post? Who's forcing anyone? A simple out would have sufficed.
And I can be sarcastic and vitriolic. Believe me, there was none of that in my previous post.

I have read it mate. You ought to realise by now mate that not everyone commits fully to a championship. Take a look at myself last year for example (I'll place my own head on a stake! lol!). I could have continued with all the championships I registered for, but my circumstances had changed. I was trying to get my feet back on the ground which meant I didn't have much time for racing. It wouldn't surprise me if I can't race much this year either now my knee is fully recovered.
Ok, not everyone is the same, but its something that I thought everyone would have accepted; about the attendances.

Dan, I've been running these things for 3 years, I know how attendances work, where the drop-offs are, etc. There were numerous people online tonight playing other things.

Re: NGTC Meeting 6 Discussion Thread - Motegi East
I don't know about you and where your money comes from Scot and don't care to. Not being able to find a job for 4 months and working your first day is a lot more important than something I do as a hobby. I don't want to log on to something I do for fun and see someone posting that crap. You can GTFOH with that garbage. You aren't anyone boss or mother
Re: NGTC Meeting 6 Discussion Thread - Motegi East
@Worm. With the greatest of respect, however stressful your homelife is at the moment, calling out one of the staff in a public forum, whether it's in acronym form or otherwise, is not the wisest idea.
Re: NGTC Meeting 6 Discussion Thread - Motegi East
Come on guys, before we all start falling out. We all have a personal life that will always come first, and yes, if we can, we attend as many meetings as we can but sometimes the balance is unfair and we just have to deal with it. Scot, NGTC is a great idea and is well run and most people enjoy it. TORA was designed for the fun of it and although we all can't be here all the time, it's a great way to just have some fun with genuine great guys and have a genuine fun race! That is my view anyway.

@Worm, you also entered as a privateer, so technically you arent required to take part in the entire season. You can turn up to the rounds you are able to. However there are 20+ entrants there who aren't privateers and should be turning up to each round.

I had a bit of a nightmare last night... DQ'd from Race 1 for not reading the rules and putting an adjustable splitter on, and then having troubles with clamping my wheel down in Race 2...

Re: NGTC Meeting 6 Discussion Thread - Motegi East
My bad, I totally forgot about the TCC last night and when I got my invite I was in the middle of a match on Halo. Sorry, but I just don't like the cars and can't wait until we get back to FWD TCC.

how does that work when your team captain quits TORA completely??
Sorry guys, feel a little let down by the whole "team" experience.
Life got in the way of racing last night, but generally when i commit i attend, unless work stops play. Sorry i gave no notice.
