Thanks guys for being patient tonight. If we didn't have as many connection issues as we did at the start of the night we would have been finished 30 mins faster. It's typical that when we mangae to get 12 people in a race the online system can't handle it. Hopefully this will be solved soon. I am also very thankful that everyone doesn't get overly upset when a collision takes place. Thanks to the collision detection it seems athat its pure luck if you can pull off a pass or not. It also didn't help that half my lobby couldn't hear each other.

Again, thanks for the racing. It was overall a pretty good night. Hope you guys enjoy Monza in 2 weeks, I unfortuantely will be working so I can't make it.

Wow, actually quite enjoyed that =) not too disappointed to say it's a track I haven't raced on for months and a car I've never used. Spun 7 times in the feature race, that default setup didn't like kerbs very well. Hopefully I'll be closer to the top in F1 2010. Thanks guys Very Happy

Anybody got any times for Monza yet?

I'm getting about 1.46.2 in the Lambo and 146.7 in the GT-R.

I know they can both go quicker. Just not with me driving them!

The race will be on tomorrow night but unfortunately I will still be at work so I can't race. Chris should still be around to run the night. I will confirm this. If we have no one to run the night I may choose to delay the race (again) so I can run it the week after. For now the race is still on for tonight.

Nice racing with you guys tonight, but the dodgy collision physics have ruined Shift 2 online for me.

Just holding out (probably in vain) for a fix from EA.

I was seriously considering a GT3 championship but if the game is proving to be putting people off from racing online then we may have to drop it or just run a works time trial or something.
