Re: Official Forza Motorsport 4 Thread
If I actually had the cash to spend on games i'd probably go for FM4, BF3 and possibly F1 2011.
Of course if I had enough cash i'd be done with the console and would be iRacing it up, but eh.. Life ain't fair.

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 4 Thread
and how GOOD does the car look in it. Looks totally there. The T10 lighting system is waaaayyyyyyy better than before.
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 4 Thread
I hope they fix the lighting system in the paint mode, I can never see the back of my cars properly.
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 4 Thread
Some neat stuff in there, but they are trying to hard with autovista. It's nice and all, but seriously Dan, stop overselling it.

or backward sides on race cars!!Richy wrote:I hope they fix the lighting system in the paint mode, I can never see the back of my cars properly.
After seeing the clear improvement in the graphics, and the fact that they GPS'ed Hockenheim to "sub-centimeter" accuracy as well as more detail and landmarks. Plus the new lighting engine and resolution and moving grass / trees, AND their track list are only the ones they've released videos for, I'm actually really excited for even the existing tracks to be released, as I'm sure they would've been remodelled. Just that short Road Altanta segment we saw at E3, it doesn't look like its set in the desert as much with the "sunset" approach.
I'm 95% sure that the new Silverstone will be in the game, and can't wait for all the new track videos and images!
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 4 Thread
$90... Thats reasonable money!
Roughly £55.
No FFB though, but hey, if its for Forza, some good resistance should do. Much better than having a controller.

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 4 Thread
Nice, the bridges are different, and they've removed the bridge after Canada.
But the left hand side of the track after where that bridge should be is much different to that. Race Pro's Road America is still much more accurate.
And the Motorcycle Chicane has not been put in..
But overall, I do appreciate the addition of the wider tarmac run offs and the new ad boards and bridges. Looks really good!
Plus, the body language of the car into some of the turns looked great too!

- Genuine “Manettino” dial
- 2-position switch lets users directly change game settings while they race
- Automatically returns to neutral position
- 8 easy-access action buttons + one 8-direction D-pad in the form of an “Engine Start” button
- Xbox Guide button with illuminated ring indicating the player number
- 270° steering radius
- Pedal set featuring pedals with long range of travel, plus realistic resistance and angle
- Super-stable, practical V-shaped clamping system can be attached to any table or desk

Re: Official Forza Motorsport 4 Thread
The RoadAmerica updated version seems pretty promising. Pretty impressive I must say, but hopefully other tracks see this kind of attention.
Re: Official Forza Motorsport 4 Thread
agreed Avenger. ive always hated the rumble strips in the hairpin corners of tsukuba. compared to youtube vids, the rumbles in FM1/2/3 have been too tall
