M&M Racing
M&M Racing would like to anounce that they have confirmed all three drivers for the second season of the BTCC.
With car choices still to be made we cannot go any further into this, but extensive tesing will be carried out within the next few weeks to determine the cars that the drivers will be using for the upcoming season.
M&M Racing are looking to win the team championship this year, and this shows with our current driver line up.
Driver line up for the upcoming season is:
First Driver - Richard Millard (Richy59)
Second Driver - Ian Marr (Ianmr)
Third Driver - Luke Marchbanks (iGr Short Sh1ft)
Sponsors are still to be decided, but we are currently in talks with our current BGT Sponsor Rizla.
More news to follow...

M&M Racing have announced that they will be running three SEATs for the upcoming season 2 of the BTCC. The team purchased the SEATs from the works factory team after SEAT Motorsports decided that they will no longer be running in the BTCC. This gave M&M Racing the opportunity to buy the full kit from the previous season, giving M&M Racing a fantastic car and team to bring into season 2.
Yesterday the full team took to testing at Maple Valley to see what they could achieve with the new cars. All three drivers took to the track and put in many laps to determine their pace in the car.
iGr Short Sh1ft put in some impressive laps and getting his times down to the 0:38.2 mark mid-way through the day.
Richy was able to match his best time he could get around the track with a 0:38.637 and running constantly at the 0:38.7 mark.
Ian has been struggling to get to grips with the new car since testing began, never being able to get the car under the 0:39 mark, but last night after some intensive testing and some major set-up changes he was finally able to get the car to go around the track in 0:38.6. Very impressive when he has been unable to get the car working for him.
M&M Racing was joined at the Maple Valley track by Murcielagogma who joined in with testing in his MINI. He was setting some fast times throughout, reaching the 0:38s at a few points throughout the night. We hope to see him racing up there with the faster drivers throughout the season.
The team also tested some other cars last night to see if the SEAT was the best choice to run. All three driver took to the track in Audi S4s, but Short Sh1ft and Richy were unable to beat the time that they set in the Leons in those big cars. The only driver that was able to set faster time in the Audi was Ian who could get the car down to the 0:38.6s with ease where he had been struggling with the SEAT all day. In the end the team decided that the SEAT Leon was still the best car to run with overall.
The team took time out of their busy test schedule yesterday to take allow the press to take some pictures of the finalized car.

M&M Racing, Plow Motorsports and IOR Racing took part in a quick test session today around Sebring Short in America. The racing between the four cars was very close and intense with paint swapping going on throughout. The Test session unfortunately had to finish early after three of the drivers, AJtheButcher, lfcnicklck and Richy59 had a massive crash which left their cars in ruin.
