so i'll be the first to post here with non-FM3 'Stock Car' pics

Friday Night i picked up a used copy of NASCAR 2011, to finally try it out, and in comparison to the last company who put out a NASCAR liscenced game, EA did a better job. despite how bad it was.

Anyways, i created my own TORA livery in the Game:

How it Started: (more of the "Take Picture of the TV Screen" Mode)

The Positive the paint editor has on FM3's editor is the fact you can freely place vinyls/decals/etc anywhere regardless of 'sides', and it appears to have a bit more 'shapes' (me thinks). But Thats IT! the livery allows 1,000 layers TOTAL (compared to 1,000 for each side and roof, and 500 for the front and back in FM3), and creating Text Decals SUCK! you have to enter one letter at a time, and not even of Forza standard's (meaning, if you 'stamp' a letter in Forza, you can edit the letter later. not in Nascar2011.)

it may looks good, but i would prefer Fm3. Smile

there's bugs that havent been fixed (some tracks, the caution lights dont go out; cautions sometimes do not get triggered for spinouts or wrecks; from what i read about the online, its a nightmare. lag crashes, and only a certain few people in a lobby can move while others are stuck and immobile; thought there was to be a 2011 Paint Scheme add-on, but the game isnt listed on the XBL Games Marketplace for 'Add-ons'; i have found while waiting in the 'garage', some bg-engine noise is directly ripped from NASCAR 09 from EA)

..if Eutecknyx is still onboard for NASCAR 2012, they ought to get it right

Hey, its their first attempt atleast. I have heard that it is very buggy and plays like a beta at the moment.

I thought they would have sorted that by now though!

NASCAR 2011 was actually Eutecknyx. the last nascar title prior, NASCAR 09 was from EA.

Eutechnyx made the Ferrari Challenge and Supercar Challenge games for the PS3, which are supposedly quite good.

They also both come with a livery editor.

Does NASCAR 2011 have individual car companies? It doesn't look like it from your pics. I've been trying to get a good NASCAR game but I've hated all of them past NASCAR Thunder 2003. I didn't like '09 and one other one I played. There was one that I think I liked but I can't remember the year.

yeah, NASCAR 2011 does have individual car companies. that first pic was on a Chevy, the 2nd was on a Ford
