Round 13: The Belgian Grand Prix - Spa Francorchamps

Yes, its that time again folks! After a 3 week break, we return to the season with the first race being in Belgium! This has to be one of my utmost favourite tracks in the world! A great mix of corners with a terrifying uphill straight! The race is looking to be an extremely wet one! Heavy rain will be there all weekend, making it a superb challenge for the drivers! With Rickard_Olsson in the lead by 11 points over Keyzer Soze and 22 points clear of White bull78, its still anyones to lose! Are you in, or out!? Discuss here!

Scratch that. I forgot the ISCC got re-scheduled to race this Sunday. So unfortunately I won't be able to host this.

I can host ! no problem.. the BIG problem is to get people racing.. you don´t need a host if you don´t have any drivers !

EDIT: I found out what happened. Only one person turned up and that was Bambino Thug. So there was no race. I think he deserves points for turning up. If these are the figures we are getting, then there will be no F1 2011 Championship cos it will be pointless. I have an excuse. I was at a party. A family party. As far as I'm concerned, family is 1ST! If you want to do a Spa race during the week, let me know.

It looks like the only other round of the championship that will clash with ISCC will be the Japanese GP. So I should be there for the rest of the season.

Bloody ISCC! joke joke! I know some of you have other commitments but for 1 person to turn up, not very good! If we can all agree on next Sunday then it will be scheduled for then!

Not sure if this is okay with TORA, but, UKOG do a good F1 2010 Championship on the Xbox, and they race on a different day to this championship, perhaps you guys should take a look? It seems that anything that isn't Forza here isn't popular, which is a great shame.

Anyway, check out UKOG, they have big grids and they have very friendly clean racers, I started my online racing ''career'' with UKOG in 2008.

We need to get a new day for the F1. I was talking to Johnny about this and because the TORA GT and ISCC has traditionally been on Sundays and is more popular they take priority.

This series needs a shake up. I personally thing running it mid week, say Wednesday or Thursday, would be better. Maybe moving it to 9pm to try and get the guys in the US into the race, but that's where mid-week racing falls short.

I also think it need to be shorted seasons, maybe regional ones. This year long season thing just doesn't seem to work imo.

Long seasons do tend to give thin grids.

I'd definitely do an F1 2011 championship.

I would have done the F1 2010 championship if a) I had a wheel and b) It didn't clash with the GT/ISCC.

Any idea to make a better F1 series are welcome. With F1 2011 coming out soon we can try out a smaller one mid-week to see how numbers stack up.

Promoting this series is also key. I mean, the RWS and UKOG have large grids a year after the game has been released so they must be doing something right. In RWS's case, for the past year F1 has been their sole focus.

I know its hard balancing two championships that clash, so what we might have to do in future is run it on a weekday after the actual race. We are gonna have to advertise EVERYWHERE we can. F1 forums, other community forums, Facebook, anything! I am planning in my head how we can do it next year. I like the format we have at the moment. Quali and 50% race and I think the others like it too. But, I am hoping to get F1 2011 in September so I can get to grips with multiplayer. If anyone else is getting it (Silly thing to say for some! ) then I shall do lobbies where we get to try it out and see what we wanna do.

Perhaps we could do it on the Saturday before each real life GP?

Why would you want to drop the round for? No. We are doing it. I'm not having just one driver turn up and then drop it. Here's whats gonna happen, if we get 3 or more people, then they will race. If there is only 2 drivers, they get points. Banbino Thug will be getting 25 points if no one turns up as he is the only one who made an effort to turn up last week. I will be sending out messages to all who have been racing in GPWC on xbox.

Just got a lovely message from Kilroy. He said this championship is dead. He can piss off for all I care. I ain't killing it off just cos some of us ain't playing it. I am not killing a championship mid fricking season. Don't like it, don't flipping race. I am doing my bloody best here to keep this championship going until the end of the year, and then you get some people who don't care and slag it off. If you don't wanna race, you know what to do. As far as I am concerned, some people still want to race with this, and these people will be the only ones who get any points. This championship is going on until the end of the year, if you like it or friggin not.

I never criticised you or the way you run this championship, but I don't think enough people are racing in it. I race in a different F1 league, what makes it good is that there is a race every week there. And as I'm not too bothered for the ISCC & GT series here (both are great series, just not my thing) my Sunday evening are usually free, plus im mates with the guy who runs it. He has the exact same rules as you, 50%, damage on etc. But what put me off was the fact when you don't host, I don't get invited, I get forgotten, even if I post 'In'

Personally I hope this series survives, you put hard work in to this & it's a shame it's not as popular. It might be a shallow reason, but I will race where the grid is bigger.
