TASCAR 2011 - Round 8 - Benchmark C - 1st October

The TASCAR 2011 Finale has arrived, and comes to the Uber flat Benchmark C track, this saturday, October 1st, 2011.

As to avoid conflicts with the airing of Petit Le Mans, Qualifying will start @ 1pm EST (6pm BST), and Race will start @ 1:30pm EST (6:30pm BST)



Qualifying:

Standard 4 lap setup. Random Grid, Cosmetic Damage. When the qually lobby starts, all will line up against the wall to the inside of the track, and one driver will qualify at a time.

Race:

Race set to 2-50 lap segments, done in 'Heat-style' (after 1st segment, goes right into segment 2 without having to go back to the lobby). Cosmetic Damage, and seeing as Benchmark(s) have no pit lane, pitting isnt nessesary.

Cautions:

One or more drivers involved. Pace speed is 65 mph. To Avoid collisions during Safety Car/Caution periods, please leave a safe gap between the driver in front and back. 'Green-White-Checkered' Rules apply




--With the points standing as tight as they are, competition could be firece. With 16 points seperating DAN 2605 and Rollin InAn STi, and only 8 points seperate Silentalarm42 and FranchittiFan for 3rd place.

Sad to here this. I was hoping for a close battle for 3rd.

Congradulations Dan for the TASCAR 2011 Title.

Once FM4 is released, a couple 'Exhibition' rounds between October and December will be held to test out the car(s) with the new game, umong other things.

Well done Dan. I had so many chances to win and take 3rd but things didnt fall the way i needed. The highlight of my season has to be Silverstone and 'The Pass' for 2nd.

Many congrats to Mark and Chaddy for finishing second and third in the series, as well as all those who took part in this championship.

The race was frustrating a lot of the time. Particularly because one person caused nearly all of the safety cars to be deployed.
The almighty crash I caused was very amusing. I was trying to spot where silentalarm42 was behind me without realising how far I was from the barriers. All I could remember was seeing silent's car in midair. Apologies for that one guys.

Next on my agenda is the Touring Cars.
