It's a Monaco only quali system. It's to stop the cars tripping over each other!

I enjoyed the race, although I really wish it was 30 mins later! That downpour after the race was immense, it would have been awesome to see what the top 6 would have done then.

I'll be in Budapest backpacking round about the time of the Grand Prix, I'm considering popping over to the Hungaroring if it's not too pricey!

So far they are only selling seat license with a season ticket and 3-day F1 tickets. They may sell 1-day tickets later on. Other races planned so far are V8 Super cars, ALMS, DTM, GP Bikes.

If that doesn't prove that shitey tyres and DRS are crap, then I don't know what does.

DRS simply gives the driver a guaranteed pass and makes him wait for the DRS zone rather than going for a proper thoughtfully executed pass. I want to see actual driver work going on, not this bollocks. The DRS completely ruined the race for me today..

Urgh. Le Mans next week.

Tire management skills came into play today. While Alonzo's Ferrari one stop strategy failed, it appears that the one stopper worked brilliantly for Grosjean and Perez.

Hard to condemn Pirelli when some people can make it work.

The one stop strategy wasn't a bad one, it's just that Vettel & Alonso pitted way to early to make it work. They should've pitted after Hamilton's longish second stop. Really, I don't know what the strategists are thinking nowadays. I know they're more clever than me, but still sometimes they just seem so dim.
