Good race today, love the new TX circuit. Bet that track will put on some epic Grand Am and V8 Supercar races next year.

It's so much diffrent when you're walking around it than on TV. It has many different views and turns it's hard to believe you're at the same track.

Looks like the V8 Supercars cars will be using the short version of the track which turns left at turn 6 and connects with the back straight..

I have to give a massive thumbs up for this track, really loving it!

ok guys, so i've done the maths and with the results from the US this is what i have:
for Vettle to win the championship either: Alonso gets 4 or lower if Vettle crashes, or Vettle finish 3rd at the least, then he will win the championship no matter where Alonso finishes (of cause 2nd or 1st).
IF Alonso get first and Vettle fourth, then they tie, if Alonso gets 3rd, vettle needs to finish 9th to tie and 8th or higher to win the championship.

for me the race is at 2 in the morning, but i couldn't care less, no school so an early morning to watch the races, this will be one to watch

Just watching the Press Conference from the last race and with them talking about Shumi (whilst he is there) and about how he was their hero - especially Vettel - it was pretty difficult for him as you could see he was welling up inside. No matter what he has done in the past I always liked him and what he achieved will take a long time to be beaten.

yea, i'm getting up at 1 monday morning for schumacher, he is my number 1 favourite racer ever (tied with brock). i have to see his final race, granted it can be recorded for me, but idk, i need to and have to watch it live, it's not the same watching it after its happened.

i grew up with him (although i was not born until his 4th season) and only remember parts of 00-02, but he was my idol, and my dads, he gave my dad and i some of the best memories ever! sitting there winning his races and titles. he has 38 records to his name (one of them actually being most records by 1 driver), people who dont think he was, wait sorry is the best and most accomplished formula 1 driver ever are kidding themselves, sorry, but its fact.
i'm hoping he gets the acknowledgement and ceremony/tribute (sorta thing) he deserves because he does. i will admit this, and pay me out as you wish, but i think i may a bit teary watchin the race monday morning and no doubt, the rest of the grid, especially himself, his crew and the croud will be too

Schumacher, i've said enough over the last three days, but it's been great watching you over the last 2 decades, granted i only could see you for 10 of them, but that was still a great career to follow. i know i and millions of others across the world are going to miss you and i hope to the hear the schumacher name in race in the coming years

I know a lot of people here dislike Vettel, but after his performance in Abu Dhabi & Brazil, you can't say he doesn't deserve it.

Really hope Mercedes are as competitive all next year as they were at the start of this year. Roll on 2013
