Back in November, STORM purchased the 2011 Oryx Lola Mazda LMP car with the focus of running the car in the TORA ISCC in 2012, but needed an engine supplier for the series.

Not only did STORM get an engine supplier, but the major automotive manufacturer has turned the small privately owned team into a brand new works effort for ISCC. So, previously from the STORM garages, comes:


BMW Motorsport comes to the LMP class of ISCC for 2012! The works effort strongly promotes its energy efficient program, "efficientdynamics", with alternative fuels on the increase in endurance racing. The car will see a hybrid of the efficientdynamics system, which also used standard petrol to ensure a competitive performance.

CMGraphix will continue to oversee the day to day running of the team, and announces that he is on the lookout for drivers to fill the works seats for next year. "I would prefer to have a top rate driver to partner alongside me in the effort, and also have a seat for amatuer driver."

The car will make its debut this weekend at the legendary Le Mans circuit, for the final round of the ISCC Asia (yes Le Mans is in Asia now) series.
