MSA GT Car List

All Cars must be fitted with:
RWD
Race Suspension
Race Rollcage (Where applicable)
Race Tyres* (Except the McLaren, Saleen Raptor and Gallardo LP570, please read below)
Forza Front and Rear Wing

The cars then are organised into 2 groups and have PI maximums.

Group A
Power Limits : 451bhp - 599bhp
Weight Limits : 2901lbs - 3299lbs

Group B
Power Limits : 651bhp - 699bhp
Weight Limits : 3001lbs - 3299lbs

Group C "Lightweight" Class
Power Limits : Max 550bhp
Weight Limits :2401lbs - 2499lbs


* The McLaren MP4-12C has an extra requirement, which it has to have Sport Tyres.
* The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 needs Stock Tyres.
* The Saleen Raptor S5S needs Sport Tyres

The cars are limited to TWO teams (of 3 drivers each) and TWO privateers using each car, on a first come first served basis.

With the Gt24 over I cant wait for the MSA TORA GT 2012 Championship to start our official 2012 MSA Championships off

Dammit, wanted to give you more suggestions for cars. My fault, forgot about it. Will post them here then.

Acura NSX '05 - Group A
Ferrari FF - Group B with forced Sport Tyres and max PI 695.
Infiniti G37 Coupe Sport - Group A
Vauxhall Monaro - Group B (there actually was a GT2 version some years ago)

(and the Audi TT-RS and Nissan 370Z of course )

..And what a great car that Monaro was!

Monaro I tried, and would need a PI of 720 to be close to competitive, 370Z is way too quick, even at 680, Audi TT is a collision causer, and too slow.

Infiniti doesnt quite fit the class, more of a touring car I'd say, and if I add the FF, I'll also have to add the Rapide etc... :S

Just did a 'qualify session' like it was done in GT24 around Suzuka in the Monaro. Group B rules, PI is 685. Time was 2:07.976, which would have been 4th grid spot, only 2 tenths slower then pole position.

The FF has 2 doors, the Rapide has 4 doors.

Ok, just for info, last night I did make a few amendments to cars and PIs as per the advice of a few guys, and testing proved their concerns. Now the series is open, the carlist will remain as it is. If there is a massive error with one or more of the cars then minor amendments may be made after race 2.

Other than that, the cars are nailed down.

What was the error?, the evora?

There were a few, like the Gallardo LP570, Spyker, and yes the Evora was one.

what were they meant to be at?

U can thank me for the changes to the spyker and the LP570 lol.
That Gallardo was just way too fast. I hit the 25s in that car around indy when ATR Dan (who qualified first in the GT24) qualified with like a 26.6.

The spyker was just incredibly quick on every track. Both cars were never driven in the GT24, the spyker would have been figured out to be a little too quick had some one chosen it.

Once again, through the honesty of another great tuner another car has been discovered to be "tres rapide". So the Saleen Raptor is being brought down in line. Apologies if anyone was about to pick the car, but as far as I see no-one is affected.

Two questions:

1. Is it too late to sign up a team?

2. Are only the cars in green avaliable?

2. No, you can choose any car, just refer to the entry list, as some may not be available. Each car can be chosen by two teams and two privateers only, so some may not be available.

How can you tell if the cars are available? Some are in GREEN which leads me to think these are the only ones available but there's some green numbers floating around as well. What's that all about?

Those "Green" numbers and cars were added/updated PI's since the conclusion of the GT24 series in early december

Ok, thanks! Now, once again, maybe I'm just a bit..., slow but how can I tell which cars are available to choose from?
