MSA TORA GT Season 8 - Car List

Sorry, saw jledesma's avatar, HAD to post this...

I'd like to change to the Aston Martin DBS.. on the car list it shows it to be a 2009, in my garage it shows being a 2008? Can I use it?

After Road Atlanta, unless someone chooses one of the cars, the cars which are now dark red and for the chop from the carlist, due to getting rid of the lightweight class and a few random entries which don't 100% fit as a GT3 car.

To the powers that may be...... if possible I would like to swap back to the Audi R8. Being down at the bottom of points anyway, I might as well enjoy driving the car! Took the R8 around the ring and with a legal tune it's 2.3 seconds quicker than the sorry DBS. please change me........

Afraid so yea, there wasn't much interest for the "lightweight" class, so it was scrapped. They were more to get in as many cars as possible, but kind complicated things.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage can now go to PI 690

Aston Martin Zagato has been added to the list at PI690

Entrants for the Zagato and swap overs to the Vantage will open at 10:30pm on Sunday, after the Silverstone meeting. Any other car will remain open throughout

Damn, I want to change to a V12 Vantage now...

I'll defernately be building the new Zagato. Might be tempted to switch our teams cars to it.

Which cars are still available to privateers and teams?

I would like to do the ol' switcheroonie to the Zagato. I've got a good feeling about this one... It's a proper racing car after all.

It also has a rear diffuser as an aero upgrade

All I can say is don't expect the Zagato to be rapid. I'm not sure yet until I've tried it out.
Reason I say that is because even though it's a racing car, it's not at a particularly highly rated car in terms of it's p.i level at stock build, judging by it's statistics.

I upgraded it and it's better than my Camaro. I'm happy with that

Yea but the diffuser does hinder cornering. It's the same effect as a rear bumper. It's just for looks really

Not sure about the 2011 Weisemann magictap. Haven't bought it, but while in the dealer 'lot' comparing them side by side, somehow the newer one has less handling than the 2010 version. I hope that doesn't effect its handling stats when built to GT-specs.

And for me, that Zagato is something I want to try out, but I'm not spending 1/2 Mil CR right now. Saving to buy the DBR1 for that achievement for owning the most expensive cars (unless someone has one that can gift it to me, if that'll trigger it, and I'll gift it back)

I've built and tuned the '11 Weismann to GT spec, it has the same amount of handling as the older model, but is limited to what can be done by it's stock power.

Could be quick if tuned and drove right.
