TORA GT - Lap Times

think tonight going to be a learning experiance for me.F430 running consistant low to mid 1:29's with occasional dip to high 1:28's. it's a pig to turn. sorry to all if i get in the way

It'll take you a few races to get used to the way everyone else drives online and to find your comfort zone. You'll enjoy it, just don't be to dis-heartened if you don't match the times or positions of some of the other drivers who have been racing here for awhile. I hope you enjoy it tonight

Was about to dip into 1:26s... then my Xbox froze on me when I hit the kerb of the last corner before banking... gutted.

My best lap was just below a 1:31 (usually 1:32-1:34) so I figure qualifying last shouldn't be a problem. I'll only be in the way once the front runners start lapping me haha

So I guess it brings us to Road Atlanta in two weeks... here we go again!

First few lap rounds Road Atlanta in the new build and pottered round at a 1.23.883, car has a more to give as it wont settle in the first sector, 11 days of tuning left.

With the Indy tune, I'm in the low/mid 24's @ road atlanta if I recall. Haven't ran any laps since Sunday (and now have a brace on my left wrist as per doctors orders, so holding the controller is going to be tricky for the next 2 weeks) will try to run a few laps tonight

Indy tune I'm hitting low 25s. Should be interesting!!

Last night while wearing said brace on my left wrist I managed a 1:24.6 @ road atlanta with my Indy tune. Lap times might be better if I was able to hold the controller better.

Indy tune is quite similar here isn't it really, maybe tweak downforce for last corner so you can go flat out.

Mid to high 24's for the vette. It feels faster then the laps I'm getting, but I'm going for consistency not fastest lap.

first outing in the mclaren is 1:26.8... much to do...

I am in the 1:30s after 20 or so laps, can I get KERS or DRS or something? haha

Low 27s and a dip into the high 26s. I hve a feeling I wont get another 26 again though

just about scraping the 27's but lots of tuning to do on this track so looks like another close race between us again nightrider

1:25.8...but deathly loose. The very next lap I spun her coming down the esses and somehow I didn't touch anything

Took a look at the leaderboard and saw a 22 by Ian

I have heard rumours of 20s, and 21s so I am long way off.

The car has a new build and about 4 hours work on the tune over the weekend and last night. Going to test further over the coming week but build up consistency. Although the 458 is the car to have round here, I have done a few laps in a semi tuned car and managed low 23s, handles rather nicely through the first section rather than the fight with the SLS.

I've been doing mid 24's, so if 20s are being rumoured, then someone has too much time, or the car is too good

I did a few quick laps in the ford with the basic tune (after fixing the horrid gearbox) and was nailing good times, this car seems to have awsum brakes which is where you can make alot of time. with some tuning this car could be very quick. The 458 on the other hand was gaining all its time with it's speed through the first section, just sails through but seems to lack the balls on the straights. I reacon looking at the build and getting rid of the dubs it could be a hugely quick car here like at silverstone.
