great racing against Trooper. the speed of the M3 GT2 vs the better grip of the Z4 GT3.
...now to let my left wrist rest

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 1- Nurburgring Grand Prix 15/1/2012
The ISCC is back with an incredible bang!
Wow! What a race that was. Really pleased to have won just ahead of Berty who was hounding me down for the last few laps when the traffic was working against me! I have to say thank you Berty for the last 15 minutes of the race. I was really anxious but it was brilliant.
Had some scary moments here and there with the traffic, especially when I came up to Trooper, Mark and Mikem! I'm not sure what exactly happened but coming out of the new F1 section, I was trying to lap all three so I thought I would follow Mikems path. But when I tried, Trooper was ready to move across! Managed to go inbetween Trooper and Mark without any contact, but by the next corner, Mikem spun infront of us. Luckily, we didn't touch so I take my hat off to everyone in that difficult situation.
Overall though, the traffic was stupendous throughout the race and I would like to thank everyone that myself and my fellow LMP drivers had to lap with ease.
I had one other interesting incident a little earlier in the race with Duncan coming out of the hairpin. I'm really sure he didn't do it deliberately (I know it's not in his nature), but he just turned into me when I was a long side coming out of the corner. I thought I'd taken some damage but thankfully nothing happened to either one of us.
Overtaking Berty at the start of lap 2 was really key to my race so I could dictate my strategy a little better, and thank god it worked!
Many commiserations to VVV Magictap and Gen3ral especially for their retirements in the race! Travis lagged out with only a couple of minutes left on the clock so that was really unfortunate dude!
Well done once again to TORA for organising this brilliant championship event this evening. I shall be looking forward to the next race!

Well, that blew, to put it bluntly. Was running 3rd in the lobby, well up on 4th (Grizz) and just a little off Louis and Simon when I flat ran over Matt's (Jenson09) LMPC in the final corner.
I AM SO SORRY MATT
One touch and I was left with 100% front aero damage, and 52% on both sides...now my hand hurts from wheeling that dump truck around for the final 40 minutes.

Good race guys.
I am happy to have simply made it through the race unscathed. Even after driving side by side with Bli33ard for a coule of laps.

Nice race, Don't know how I didn't get any damage as I had to make a couple of the GT cars Change their britches with a very close pass but still was a fantastic race with more fun than i ever expected

Great race, traffic really went against me in the 1st half and I had no grip at the start of the race. Good fun tonight though well done Dan. I'll get you next time

Yeah it was great wasn't it? One lap we were side by side for half of it! My tactic was to slow you down by staying out and forcing you to make a mistake but when you got past me that was it. Straight in there.
Had no issues with anyone, maybe apart from that dog who kept barking down the mic, one of the LMPC drivers. Heh. I think culchi wanted to go to the house and deal with it personally.
Bit disappointed with the lack of racing on my end, but happy I overtook a few.
Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 1- Nurburgring Grand Prix 15/1/2012
Very happy to have Won the race in the new M&M Lamborghini GT2. The car has a good base set-up which suits this track well. Was such a shame to see Travis pull out the lead with electrical issues moments from the end. I hope to carry the success over the next round but fear for our pace in a straight line.

Wished I could have raced with you guys in lobby A. Pretyy boring race for me, except when trying to lap the odd LMPC car. Lol.

I was leading Louis until coming up to Grizzz as he went into the pits, and hit the wall, bouncing him back into my splitter giving me front end damage. Still, reasonably happy with where I finished. Great racing all!

We'll see mate! lol Many thanks and well done to you as well.
I forgot to mention in my previous post but I was surprised my tyres lasted so long because I made my second pistop just after 25 minutes so I was on the second set for nearly 50 minutes. Thank you Michelin!!

Congrats to the podium finishers.
Have to say sorry to Selective Rouge. I hit him when I was trying to pass Magic going into turn 1. Luckily he said he didn't get damaged but my rear and sides had damaged so I was sliding around for most of the race.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 1- Nurburgring Grand Prix 15/1/2012
why? cause Staceys in hospital, Colins at his grannys as they said they'd take him tonight (i didnt ask them to take him, very nice of them) so i rush home from work as i finish on 8, park the car, run upstairs of my flat block to my flat, then once im in i set up my wheel really quick hoping to make qulifying. I dont make it so i get tuning and try really hard to get this wheel setup and car to work but stuck in 2.00.xxxs no matter how hard i try, so just look forward to abit of racing only to be told i cant as theres 1 car too many. Id done with running home to put another car on the grid at these races.

Sorry buddy all my fault, I was going in the pits at too high of a speed braked late and the car locked up and went off to the middle of the turn. Noob mistake sorrySimon wrote:I was leading Louis until coming up to Grizzz as he went into the pits, and hit the wall, bouncing him back into my splitter giving me front end damage. Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 1- Nurburgring Grand Prix 15/1/2012
Learning curve couldn't be steeper!
First time running the wheel in anger, I had tested most of Sunday to try and comfortable, ran a 55 in Qualy which was about 3 seconds quicker than I had done all weekend.
Start required me to run with the outside cam to avoid contact with anyone while I got used to close proximity racing. Fumbled the buttons into turn 1 making me run wide a bit but nothing serious. Taking the Schumacher S for the first time and car went wide, span it and possibly collected a GT2. If I did, apologies.
Aware of some people bitching about my driving in the race, was fighting heavily damaged aero and trying to drive around it whilst learning the wheel was painful. Though about dropping out but wanted to complete the race if for nothing else but get some good time running with the wheel.
Sadly with the amount of damage I carried it was harder to get a genuine fix on how I was doing.
Just tried to stay out of people's way and finish the race.

Fantastic Racing last night all
Dan sorry didnt mean and was not going to punt you off was doing everything I could, clean racing to slow you down
Well done all to GT cars was so much fun traffic was really good
No damage received so all good.
Bit confused about where I finished 5th? was this due to our lobby start time?

You could have been lower if lobby B had started closer you your time there was a total of 23 seconds added to those in lobby B
