Only 5! Considering the fact that these are probably American beers and this is your birthday, you should be finished your first 24 already!

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 2 - Camino Extreme 5/2/2012
ok both start points have issues here,
start1 narrow sweeper that can cause issue
start 2, long straight leading into a single file chicane that if one person goes off the sticky asphalt takes over and could cause a huge pile up
either way both are just as dangerous as the other just a matter of which one do the majority thinks is the lesser of two evils

i think start 2 would be marginally safer...as it will give time for the LMP's to pull away from the GT's even just a little bit.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 2 - Camino Extreme 5/2/2012
I'm with travis here. Start #2 would be a safer start point.
Edit: there is a start/finish line closer to the hairpin of the Iberian section Conner. The Start/Finish line you snapped a pic of is what's used for Iberian Short & Mini variants.
But I'm OUT for this round

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 2 - Camino Extreme 5/2/2012
start #1 for me. i dont think 8 lmp1's bunched up at 180+ mph all trying to go flat out throught the chicane is a great idea. just my opinion.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 2 - Camino Extreme 5/2/2012
More questions from me:
1 - Per ISCC rules we must make our first mandatory pit stop before 25 elapses; is there any restriction on how early we can make our first stop? At Camino, if we start at the 2nd start line, it is possible to pit before we complete a single lap. Also, how would any ruling on this affect other tracks where the start line is the start line?
2 - Do we have any guidlines for the pit entry at Camino? Staying between the white lines does slow us down going in so that we do not shoot straight through, but, the final turn into the pits is quite narrow and makes it very easy to damage our aero because of a little mistake (it could also cause a pile up if there is a car entering the pits close behind another car that clips that corner and ends up sideways in the pit entrance). There is a large patch of asphalt at the pit entry that allows for a straighter and easier pit entry, but, it allows us to blow into the pits at high speeds.
3 - Do we have any guidlines for the pit exit at Camino? Lets face it, the pit exit is kinda stupid as it throws us out on to a very fast part of the track. Calling out when leaving the will at least eliminate the surprise factor, but, is there anything else we should be doing?

Re: MSA TORA ISCC Europe Round 2 - Camino Extreme 5/2/2012
1. I'm not sure about if there is a limit to how early you can pit, although I would say you can't pit on the first lap, regardless of where the start line is.
2. As soon as you get to where the asphalt widens, pull off to the side where pit entry is and brake so that you don't accidently skip over your pit.
3. The safest method would probably be to call out when you start leaving the pits (when the car starts moving again) and when you are about to regain control of the car.
