The trucks have arrived at Silverstone for this weekend’s GT Championship. Both drivers are hoping for a good run here.

Looking back over the week Last weekend we had the ISCC championship at Mugello. We had a new member to the team in R1CARDOUK. And what a impact he left with qualifying higher then both the experienced drivers and keeping his car with alot less damage then the other two drivers also and finishing higher up then both. A great start to his No Fear Racing journey. GTR had an incident with GunDam while the faster P1 car was passing him and going back in front of GTR then putting on the brakes. As we all know the P1 cars are alot faster than the P1 guys and the brakes are the same the P1 cars can stop quicker than a GT car. This damaging the aero on both cars, GunDam retired and GTR drove round with a difficult car. Chucky had a small tap in the first few laps but caused enough damage to end his chances of a good race.

TCC. This is the main series that No Fear Racing looks at. Going into the first event we looked strong had 3 drivers lined up and a reserve just incase. Testing was going great with Chucky doing 1.02's and GTR doing 1.03's. Pebb was not at any testing sessions to compare, are reserve driver R1CARDO was doing about 1.05's but with limited testing. Not long before the start of the event and Pebb had to pull out of the event due to illness. We submitted a reserve driver change but were declined as the unwritten 7:30 rule had past.

Qualifying for both drivers seemed to swap with GTR getting his fastest lap so far of a 1.02.432 now seeming that the quickest Q time for the same car was 1.01.693 by PLOW Tubbi I would think this as a great lap time by GTR. Chucky had a bad session and only posting a 1.03.457. Now with only a second separating the two drivers was the difference between B Lobby and D lobby, 18 drivers posted times in-between the two times.

GTR started the race in P11 of his lobby and finished the first race in P10. Due to unforeseen circumstances the second race was unable to start and the lobby received double points for the first round giving GTR a total of 38 Points. Chucky started his first race in P5 and fought his way to finish the first race P3, in the second race the reverse grid meaning Chucky starting P8 with alot of new drivers in front of him. And with surprise Chucky got all the way to P2 with a hard battle with SelectiveRogue for the P1 place but finding it impossible to get past. Chucky ending with 9 Points. This giving the team 47 Points and placing 13th in the teams championship just 1 point behind Aero Dynamics.

Onto this weekend at Silverstone. With the team getting some help from other people on the Paddock we have hopefully got a stronger car now. With starting after a couple of races into the championship the hopes for a good overall place are off the cards our closest rivals are Military Spec who are 40 points ahead of us.

Just keep the car clean and bring back some strong finishes is all we can hope.
