Hockenheim, Full team turn out with R1CARDOUK being the highest placed driver for the team. Steady running for R1CARDO and Chucky, and a few little things kept him and the back of the field.

BG Chucky 82 has hung the helmet up for this series and had this to say

"I love to race but with limited testing time with the team keeps me off the pace of the rest of the field and just ends up hot lapping for an hour with the LMP1 and LMPC cars whizzing by every now and then. With this series out of my schedule I can spend more time testing for the other series where the racing is closer for me. Johhnyboy said in his blog that he can’t overtake in slow cars, well I can’t overtake in fast cars and enjoy the lower speed cars as it fits my style. I will continue the GT Championship for the remaining races but it will be my last series I will enter that is high spec (S class and above)"

Chucky and GTR took to the track last night at Sedona, sadly Pebb was unable to attend due to a headache. Hope it clears for Pebb and he feels better soon.

With limited testing once again we didn’t get high on the grid. Chucky got 40th being 6th In D lobby with a time of 1.19.891. GTR E lined up 43rd being 9th in D lobby with a time of 1.18.704 but due to this being a dirty lap had a 1 minute penalty.

Race 1 - GTR had a good race and got up the field and claimed 4th in lobby (37th Overall) Chucky was caught in an early incident and could only bring it home in 7th (40th Overall).

Race 2 - Saw the reverse grid of the last race results. Chucky would start 3rd while GTR started 6th. GTR got in some tangles and went further down the field, kept with WWR Aero as he went through the field. Chucky got up to 1st. On the 7th lap it was Chucky 1st, WWR Aero 2nd with GTR E 3rd. Looking great for the team but as WWR Aero was making a pass on Chucky it all went wrong. A tap from Aero caused Chucky to spin but hitting Aero during the spin causing him to spin as Chucky just got it back together GTR E hit Chucky causing him to pit while GTR E pitted the following lap. With the damage to Chuckys car he just coasted the car home to 9th (42nd Overall) with GTR E only doing 1 place better in 8th (41st Overall).

Team Championship

Joint 15th with EK Racing 142Points.

GT Championship this Sunday at Road America, with GTR Scuderia joining the team and now running the F430 we are hoping for a good race.
