No Fear Racing Update 11/04/12 Empty No Fear Racing Update 11/04/12

Hello and well a month has gone by since the last update.

We are now halfway in with GT and ISCC and just sinking our teethes into TCC.

Lets first start off with ISCC
One race to cover here
Historic Silverstone

With a field of 9 GT cars in the 23 car grid, the best placing NO Fear car is in 20th Place overall (6th in Class) driven by the new team mate in his second race for the team R1CARDOUK with a time of 1.52.596. Next up we had got the 22nd place spot (8th in Class) with the ever improving GTR Evoluzione with a time of 1.53.008. Then there has to be someone to close off the grid and that was us with Chucky 1982 with a 1.55.245.
Chucky 1982 really found this race hard and had an early knock giving some slight aero damage. GTR Evo had an ongoing battle and got some damage later on causing him too full back. R1CARDO had a issue with a LMPC car damaging him while trying to overtake him. This resulting in 7th for GTR E, 8th for Chucky and 9th for R1CARDO in class.
The next race is this weekend at the Hockenheim Ring.

The current championship standings are
5th – Chucky 1982 – 131 Points
6th – GTR Evoluzione – 103 Points
11th – R1CARDOUK – 67 Points
Team Points
3rd – 207 Points

Now onto the GT racing in the GT Championship.
2 Meetings to cover here.
First off we was at Historic Silverstone.
After getting advice from Wheel Borrow Racing of gearing for corners and speed to take the corners at GTR Evoluzione managed to get 19th on the grid and Chucky got 22nd on the grid of the 25 car grid. With more learning of the car in the races in the first race GTR Evo got up 4 places and finished it in 15th while Chucky crossed the line 20th. Race 2 saw GTR Evo drop 2 places overall to 17th and Chucky somehow got up 18th in the final race.

After the Race it was announced the car that we was using was getting a PI reduction due to the success of PLOW RUN WIDE. For the next event a car change was put in for the Maserati GT-S.
Hockenheim Ring. Is the next event for us.
New Car for the team round a track with hardly any testing for the team. GTR Evo got 24th and Chucky got 25th. GTR stayed in 24th and Chucky dropped back one place to 26th. The second race saw GTR coming back one place to 25th and Chucky sitting it out in 26th.
In the end bad choice of car and a request of car change has been submitted for the next event at Road America.

Championship Standings
19 – GTR E – 169 Points
24 – Chucky – 156 Points
Team
8 – 325 Points

Now to the dull event of the TCC.

The last update we covered the first race meeting so lets get onto the second, we headed to Motegi East. A massive 51 cars turned up for the event. The highest ranking No Fear driver was Chucky who got up to 29th on the grid, 7 places behind in 36th was GTR Evoluzione (.453 of a second behind Chucky) And for the first time this year Pebb joined the gang and got 42nd just shy of a second behind Chucky.
Some great close racing on the track by all the drivers involved. Chucky lost a place to general tso in a great battle that lasted for a few laps and finished 30th, GTR E had a great race and got right behind Chucky and finished 31st. Pebb had a decent 1st race and dropped down to 44th.
The next race saw reverse grids of the lobbies GTR Evo started on 32nd with a standing start for the second race with Chucky right behind him in 33rd. Pebb started his race in 44th hoping for a better first race is what he done and made his way up to 41st. Chucky fought his way up to 28th while GTR E got on his tail again to come home 29th. A great result for the team.

Onto Infineon what was a shocking great race.
GTR Evo got 32nd and Chucky got 40th on a slightly smaller grid then the last at 47 entries, still an amazing amount of drivers. And what a drive by GTR Evo to hold the fought and got to 28th place (being pole in the lobby and 4 people dropping from B lobby) Chucky climbed 1 place in the lobby and up to 35th overall. Once again for the second race we turn it upside down. Due to Chucky finishing middle of the pack he stayed 35th for the reverse grid and GTR Evo went right to the back and started 42nd. Chucky got all the way up to 1st in the lobby and defended it for the race and success as some other runners in higher lobbies dropped out pushing me right up to 25th overall and 1st in the lobby, GTR Evo battled his way up also and got up to 34th. Once again great for the team.

Next up Sedona Club Reverse

Championship standings for TCC is
31 – GTR Evo – 60 Points
38 – Chucky – 46 Points
65 – Pebb – 5 Points
Team
14 – 135 Points
