F1 2011 is restarting! What day is good for you? Majority vote!

Johnny and all, sites like RWS and there are others do better F1 racing would recomend racing there if you want a decent size grid and really TORA not using F1 2011 for any series.

I race in that and would welcome more people of differing abilities.

A word of warning though, all assists except PIT and Auto Gears are off at the moment.

I'm out anyway, my A and B buttons (B being KERS) don't work..

The thing is with RWS and people like that, is that they are not flexible. You HAVE to turn off TCS (Not even medium) and the racing line, and usually pit limiter, etc, TORA was always flexible. You was allowed TCS because we understood how hard it was to drive with it off. I might even make the line be minumum "Braking only" so its either that or "Off". People loved the way it was run on a convenient day at a convenient time. I wanna carry that on because before ISCC and GPWC started clashing, it was always popular. And this year if it was run as a full series, it would not clash AT ALL with ANYTHING. I'd talk to people like Duncan and the event organisers and see what days are free. I'll most probably run it on a Monday or Thursday. Pretty sure nothing happens then. I heard about TASCAR but I thought that was Wednesday? If its Thursday or Monday then I'll run this on whatever day is free. Simple really.

But Johnny no body at TORA races on F1 2011 expect a few hence why I am recommending RWS who run a huge series there in which you will find better competition.

But you are not understanding. I don't like RWS. And people do play F1.

Johnny if you can get the numbers on TORA im sure they would run it, but most here seem to like FM4.

Ah whatever. I'll run with the 3 guys (And probably Nicky when his controllers sorted) that really appreciated it. TORAs never happy unless theres more than 10 people. I though the whole idea of a mini series was to have a night of something different. Possibly bring more people in. And it was meant to be run by the community. Must be wrong. Oh well. So no F1 for TORA then. Fine.

I think your misunderstanding the point Duncan is making.

If you want to have an F1 race that involves loads of people where you can feel challenged and feel like you are racing against people who are truly interested in using the game then the RWS and sites like it run very well organized and long running series.

If your just looking for a bit of fun on F1 2011 with people you know from this community, then feel free to continue to try make it happen here. If I had F1 2011 on the Xbox I may have taken part, but I got it for the PC as I had a good wheel at the time. I looked to get it on the Xbox but it's still too expensive and, if the PC version is anything to go by, the game doesn't support the new Fanatec wheels.

You don't need to go ultra defensive because Duncan has suggested that you may find more like minded people and more competition outside of this community. You also don't want to go down the route you did last time.

I DON'T GIVE A monkeys ABOUT COMPETITION OR A CHALLENGE. F1 here was never a challenge. It was a bit of fun... TORA was always more laid back and fun. We never made people turn off pit limiter assist, or line assist. Even someone on this post said they like the idea of the line being allowed. RWS is much more hardcore and they way I/we ran it last time, people (well, those that turned up) really enjoyed. I am sorry for what I have been saying to Duncan. But people keep saying "number, numbers, numbers" as if to say TORA only cares about numbers!

Johnny, I think you need to re-read the comments and chill. We're not saying you cant try, Duncan is purely offering a suggestion. If people aren't feeling the series, you can't force them.

Numbers do kinda matter, but not as much as you think. Magictap ran a great V8 supercar series which had a few rounds of only 4 people!

I know I know. I'm sorry, just had this convo with Richy. But yeah, I know its a suggestion but I've even said I don't like RWS and if I didn't want to race with TORA, then I wouldn't post here!

Ahh Chucky, trust you eh!? Nah, I know, but of course I want more people but at the same time, I don't care! I know 3/4 people who played it last year are definetly up for it now!
