Went to put the volume up on my tv once I entered the pits...my mic brushed my xbox and opened the tray. (I have one of the newer xboxes)
Was pissed off, so didn't get back on for the second race.

good racing by all. seems the internets didnt like the weisemenns though, from my p.o.v. chris jumping all over the map in race 1, and magictap started lagging a little bit with a few laps to go, and we ended up inside each other exiting the carousel on the final lap, and i got the worst of it. limped home to a 9th place finish then.

Cheers to all in b lobby. Was a couple of good races there. Congrats to general for both wins.
My car just didn't seem right with getting the power down after a corner. I could hold cars back but once past they left me. Think the same will.happen next week at motegi east. Good job GTR S your first drive for No Fear Racing, GTR E had to pull out due to his son not being well.

Re: TORA GT Meeting 7 powered by GT Omega - Road America
That was frustrating as hell! Race 1 got wiped out by a lagging car (to be fair, looks like it was my connection, or at least my connection to the other players in the room). Race 2, lag seemed to have cleared up. Started last but made my way up 3 or 4 places in 3 laps, then lagged out into a split lobby. I'm going to post the first lap of race 1 on here at some point though because it has to be seen to be believed what was going on from my POV. It was like trying to drive through the cars following Neo in this lil' clip!

Well... qualid P3 in lobby B.. was well happy with that. Race 1 was a bit of a nightmare. You know the feeling you get going into a corner that something is going to happen . Had just started making the sharp left hander at turn 3 (ignoring kinks). and sure enough! .Check the replay
Think Chucky82 just outbraked himself and used me to slow down a bit . No worries tho. the 430 can be a handful.
End result was me blowing smoke for the next 10.5 laps and a P7 finish.
Race 2 starting in P7 not the best place to be. All boxed in and nowhere to go. Had a couple of close calls with Bli33ard(thanks for keeping it clean ) and chucky82 again. Lost a place somwhere and finished P8. but overall.. had FUN! as usual. cheers all see you next week at motegi east.. should be interesting

Re: TORA GT Meeting 7 powered by GT Omega - Road America
B lobby was awesome where I was. A bit of the first-corner-bumping that you just assume in a race will happen (even for me on the outside front row), but that's just because too many cars occupied too much space.
And dang do those GTRs have some acceleration at the start? I think that general and I had 125ft going into turn one alone. Not to mention (apart from pitting) I kept him within 250ft the whole race.
It was fun, I have no complaints, and I'm looking forward to debuting the new paint next week

Sorry I missed my braking totally for the left hander after the long back staight. I went for the second shadow not the first (or something like that) then after the races I noticed my braking pressure was at 100% when I normally have it at 90% so they locked up aswell. Yeah race 2 was good racing with us, bli33ard pushing me out wide on the on the long right hander lol that was funny as I didnt think I would have that much grip to stay there and thought I would have gone of the track earlier in the corner and then bli33ard losing grip near the end but I dont mind with it as my car would not hold him back for long.

No worries.. been there and done it myself. been in the 430 since day 1 but it still throws up new things .
Almost took out Bli33ard at the end of the start finish streight at on point.. drafting got me to 175mph... to busy smiling to brake .

Ah lovely. I don't believe that SI is my fault. Lap 11 was a hard one where I got standaman on me. I'm gonna check it out then, whatever, don't care anymore.

Re: TORA GT Meeting 7 powered by GT Omega - Road America
Before people do SIs, they should really check the replay first. I felt I had enough room to pass Kilroy, so I went out to the apex. Wouldn't have been 4 wheels off, just plenty of room. Standaman comes down MY INSIDE (Yeah, could see I was gonna go for the gap) and hits me. In turn I scrape Kilroy, Standaman slides and takes out Kilroy. I don't feel as if I played a major part in it. Video coming up soon, IN SUPER SLOW MOTION....

Johnny no need to comment in an open thread like this. A steward will PM you about the incident and you may discuss your opinion with them.

Tbh Connor, I don't care. I feel the people submitting SIs should look properly before doing one. I have sent a PM back and here are a couple videos for you guys to discuss whos wrong here.

SI's must be dealt with privately through PMs and with the stewards who are dealing with the case.
