WTCC'esque Mini-Series
Using cars in-game that resemble the cars that are currently being used in the WTCC, I would like to run a modern WTCC’esque mini-series.
Cars:
The cars will have set builds as seen below. These builds have been tested and should be equal, BUT, there has not been an extensive amount of testing so the builds may change slightly if any inequalities exist. Tuning is allowed. To start things off, there will be 3 spots open per car. More spots will become available as more people sign up.

Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series
My opinion:
TCC is as close to WTCC as you can get in Forza. The 135i is not the same as the 335 that they use in WTCC... and is the only car on your list that isn't already in TCC.
And since we already have TCC and NATCC, another *TCC is a bit redundant. Not saying that if its scheduled on the right day and time for me that I wouldn't do this, but I would prefer something other than FWD and current.
Why not Vintage Touring Cars: Volvo, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Saab, Ford Sierra... There are enough late 80s/90s Touring Cars to run a series with.
Or, wait a week, and go for Nicky's Porsche Cup idea.

Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series
What got me on this path was me wondering exactly how well the TORA cars stacked up against the current WTCC cars. Looking through the results of the last few years of WTCC, there is only one track that they have run in real life that we have in Forza 4; Suzuka East. The 2011 WTCC pole time at that track was a 0:53.443. Taking my TCC spec Cobalt around that track the best I could do is a 0:58.9ish.
From there I upgraded my Cobalt to get me up into the 0:55.0ish range (I am usually about 1.5 seconds of the pace of the best TCC guys so that should put them in the 0:53.5ish range). The Cobalt was fun so there was some testing done on a few of the other TCC cars. There was even an idea revolving around early 2000ish Super Touring Cars.
After seeing some of the comments in the Mini-Series Suggestion thread had prompted me to do make this happen. This is only a mini-series with 3 scheduled race meetings so it should not strenuous. The BMW is included to provide that RWD chioce; and, while it is not the same as its realworld counterpart, it is the best replacement that I could find in-game. When this is over with, I may look into vintage touring cars, but, I want to try out these modern touring cars first.

Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series
Fair enough.
I'm just hoping that by tossing in my two cents, I didn't overstep my bounds.

Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series

Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series
Times are easy to change. I wanted it Saturday so that it could accommodate people east of the Atlantic and the only reason I chose to have it before the GT Mini-Series is because I figured it would be too late for those people east of the Atlantic.
So, I will change the time for this to start just after the GT Mini-Series race. Unless there is a large number of people that sign up for this and say that they cannot make it if this starts after the GT Mini-Series.
I did say that I would have the car builds up yesterday, but, I got a little preoccupied. I will get them up today as I will have time before the NATCC race.

Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series
For what it is worth, I have now updated the OP with the set builds that I propose to use. I hope I got everything correct.
If anyone is lazy, I will gift out the builds for anyone that asks nicely.

Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series
I'll try out a couple of these cars and see which I prefer before marrying the wrong one.
Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series
Is anyone up for this?
Also, after a fun time with last nights Wild Card race, random grid order will be used instead of qualifying.

Re: WTCC'esque Mini-Series
I am still running this this after the GT Mini-Series. So, Anyone that still wants to race after that is done is welcome to join. We can run as many circuits as possible if people are up for it.
Anyone can ask me me for the builds if they want.
