"it was all or nothing on the final lap. Tourte Rouge is going to haunt me until Race day. i went balls out in Qually, but i might go for a slightly conservative tune (and possibly a back up car) for the race so i can be far more consistent come time for the Race."

Nice to have qualifying out of the way for this weekend's 2.4 Heures Du Mans. Considering this was also my first time back behind the wheel in two weeks I am delighted with my time. Ran 9 laps, only 3 of them were clean, and the last was my best Very Happy

I probably have another 1.5-2 seconds in me, but I doubt I will push that hard in the race, my Q lap was a comfortable race pace.

I hate to be a pain but can I change my qualifying day to Wednesday instead please? Best get it out the way sooner rather than later.

All I can say after tonights session is good luck to everyone else who hasn't qualified yet. It's extremely tough to get a clean time and I somehow did wonders on my first qualifying lap. Pitty I crashed the car at Indianapolis on lap 5 though!

i did something of a similar fashion on my final lap. i saw green time to improve my best lap, but i took the apex to Tourte Rogue (SP?) wrong, hit the speed bumps, and caught enough air to send my BMW into a barrel roll. lol. it was all or nothing really. Smile
