Pick whatever car you want in the GT season 9 carlist!!

Car Rules:
- Strictly no chrome rims
- No additional turbos
- All other upgrades are allowed, upto the maximum PI as shown below.

ALL CARS MUST BE USING DRAG TYRES - The cars must be built to the below specifications, with drag tyres added afterwards. This will then lower your PI, and thats your car.

No mandatory pitstops

Damage -> Limited
Banned STM and ABS, all others allowed.

I'm confused. With drag tyres, which I don't mind using, it messes up the PI somewhat so it bears no resemblance to the car list when I re-upgrade to stated PI. What are we to do? Was looking forward to this but all the cars are going to be completely different and unbalanced.

Hopefully Drag tyres don't find there way into Season 9. Feels like your driving on ice with drag tyres.

Technically, if all the cars are fitted with drag tyres from the same list as they were then they should all just be as even.

Don't worry Bullet, we won't be using Drag Tyres for any main series. We want to find out how they will work at some point on the GT cars, I thought this might have been as good a time as any. If it's not a popular idea or doesn't really work we won't make everyone use them

i'm in, so with the drag tires on, are we allowed to upgrade other stuff, i.e. tires widths?

Will drag tires last that long?

I think I may have to find this one out on my own. If there's no mandatory pitting, but the tires fall off pace in a few laps, pitting may become a good idea anyway.

yeah the tifre will fail in 15 to 20 mins of running on them...

Which would then require pitting, thus remove the nedd for a mandatory pit rule. At least that is how I interpret the concept.

Just did a little test with the drag tyres fitted on a 757 PI (Season 9 Spec) BMW M3 GT2 which dropped it to 730 PI.

50% Tyre wear after 3 Laps
64% Tyre wear after 4 Laps
79% Tyre wear after 5 Laps

Going to be a lot of pit stops and Tetre Rouge gets very "challenging"

The cars must be built to the GT S9 specifications, with drag tyres added afterwards. This will then lower your PI, and thats your car. You can upgrade tyre width if required, but thats it

Why do we have to have drag tires?

1. Its a bit of fun
2. It adds pit strategy into things
3. Testing for a possible other series
4. By no means that'll definitely happen
5. Its a bit of fun
