Group A Project (Pre-1988...)
TORA Driver's and Team's Cup for FIA Group A Touring Cars
Coming very soon... I'm currently trawling through many pages of different websites to find the specs of as many cars as possible. I want to create an authentic grid of Group A cars, with a number of classes to keep cars of similar performance together...
If anyone wants to help, contact me in some way!

Re: Group A Project (Pre-1988...)
Are we talking a modern equivalent Group A, or the actual 80s / 90s Group A?

Re: Group A Project (Pre-1988...)
Toyota Corolla AE-86 - instant lose. Yes, it's in the car list with it's measly 150hp. But I've put in a Group N Mitsubishi Starion to play with it in a separate class.
The Sierra Cosworth will be in early 1987 spec, i.e around 350hp rather than the full 470hp that it obtained later on in the season.
Toyota has a more worthy contender in the Supra, again with around 350hp.
BMW have two cars, the M3 and the M6, both in the 300hp mark, but they are lighter than the Supra and the Sierra, so they should go about the same down the straights.
Volvo's 242 is in there too with a good 330hp.
Now, I would add the Alfa GTV/6 to the list, but I haven't bought that car, so if anyone has one, could they stick roughly 280hp in it, give it slicks and put all the handling and transmission upgrades on?
Potential additions inlcude the fox body Mustang.. Any suggestions for other cars that might have raced in Group A at some point? I'm only using the ETCC history website for reference. http://touringcarracing.net/Pages/cars.html

Re: Group A Project (Pre-1988...)
I have all these cars built for the Clubman cup, but with significantly lower horsepower
Re: Group A Project (Pre-1988...)
I was thinking that as I was building them, funnily enough
We could use pre-1988 Clubman Cup cars in the Group N class?
