What did you reckon to tonights first LIVE broadcasts?
(make sure your criticisms are constructive )

I thought it was terrible as nothing that I said was recorded for the full 3 Hours!

Lesson learnt though, I should have double checked the settings before I recorded. At least I was in the live entry podcast albeit a bit quiet!

Seriously though, how did we do and how can we improve?

Volumes were very good although when in cockpit view the car's noise overpowered the commentating, so maybe turn game volume down a touch when entering cockpit view.
Visuals were relatively good and you can't really expect any better when you consider its live.
Overall a major success, nice one

Quality wise I can't do any better. If I want high quality I have to pay $50 a month

Volume wise, I had Skype maxed out and as the only way I can record this live is by playing Skype through the speakers and having the Xbox play through my capture unit and through the speakers at the same time I can't separate the volumes, so I think that's the best I can get. I'll have a look and see if I can reduce the Xbox sound but I don't think I can.

Either way Richy, top work, quality is absolutely fine

Video was obviously the best its gonna get, which for me was just great. The car shots were phenomenal and i can't wait to be in some more. As for the commentating, great job guys and excellent job with in race reporting and pit reporters, one thing would be if possible having a lil variety of music and "word from the sponsors" as the session loads, and ends. And by the way guys, you can refer to me as Rob Excellent jobs, keep up the good work

It definitely brought an element to proceedings that I've not experienced before - namely that a team-mate was texting me during the night to let me know he was keeping an eye on me from work

The live streaming was very cool indeed.

I would like to find a few more flaws with it, but, I cannot think of anything else besides the engine sound being louder than the commentators when in cockpit view. If you cannot adjust the volume for that, maybe the commentators could be quiet instead and let the audience enjoy the sights and sounds from the cockpit view for a bit.

I would not worry too much about having better quality. Everything looked fine for me. I was still able to pick out the little TCC vinyls on the Lambo.

So when Simon and Louis attempted describing the lap whilst being in the car doing the lap onboard was not heard?

It was nice to be there as a special guest, too. I have a bad cold at the moment so talking isn't exactly my most favourite thing... Buts till, did my best

Audio was fantastic... Couldn't be better, actually. Exactly like the Skype quality. Video wasn't great, but it was certainly good. That way, it shouldn't make everyone lag because of the HQ.

The Louis onboard descriptive lap was in PERFECT sync with the video

They could be heard, but, the engine noises are a bit louder while in cockpit which makes them harder to hear.

I was wondering if you guys could keep the live stream up for a few more hours because I was asleep when it was on so I missed it and was looking forward to it, so could you either re post it or whatever you need to do so I can see it. It would be very very appreciated if you could cos I was really looking forward to it

We can only live stream as long as there are people on who are in a lobby. The steams we do record will go up in the library like last night, however we his a technical issue tonight which has deleted the previous videos, We are trying to get then back online soon.

Just so everyone knows, there is an actual iPhone app for LiveStream.

There could also be an iPad app, but i'm not sure if there is as i don't have one to see if it's in the app store.
