First laps I have ran in the car. I need to get it in shape for the weekend. Car seems to be pretty well planted though.
Are people running TCS in LMP 2?

I was running the Hot Laps Rivals event with the Porsche GT3 Cup and after grinding for 15 laps or more chasing TPR b0x and his 2:04.7 (which didn't help) i managed a 2:08.4 and I am in like the top 3% of all times posted. I don't think I could do that with any kind of consistency - especially after an hour of racing. Hopefully the super fast people will all be running LMP class and the "normal" people can run :09s and :10s together in peace
the only way to get better is to race those that are better than you.
keep practicing.

Re: Lap times
I'm not sure what's happened, but I've lost just about one second on my laps times at Sebring, and I know I'm running the right tune.
I just switched from a DLP to an LCD TV, but I can't imagine that had anything to do with it. I'm at a loss...

Re: Lap times
i will say this....in GTC the porsches have a SIGNIFICANT performance edge over the other cars in the class (well honestly ive only tested the porsche and the BMW, but i cant imagine the benz is much better than the Z4) im in GTE so i dont particularly care, but with the porsche i ran a quick half ass lobby tune, and within 4 laps was down into the 2:05's, but with the BMW i had to wrestle that thing to get to a 2:06.6 and i tweaked the crap outta that tune, and it took me probably 15 laps or so to get it there...as for the porsche being tricky to drive, i guess i dont get that, because i was flogging that thing trying like crazy to get it to break loose, and the only times i got it to behave remotely bad, is when i was literally trying to drift it...seems like the BMW at least could use a little help...if i had a recommendation it would be wider rear tires...the porsches main advantage is its ability to get the power down quickly, and early...the BMW just doesnt have enough rubber out back to match that rear grip.

+1 Rollin. Except I only tested the Benz, and was over 1 second slower at Sebring. So tried them both at Laguna, thinking the benz with it's higher downforce would be a lot quicker and I ran 1 tenth faster in the Porsche over 5 laps!
