Still waiting on confirmation. It should be re-ran with the others.
On this occasion I'll answer your question, but as Magictap said, this has been answered several times already. No, it will not be re-run. That's a final decision, so please don't continue to tell us "why it should be re-run". The decision has been made, the explaination for the decision posted, as well as additional info should you care to read it.
FINAL RESPONSE TO THIS MESS...
This is not a response for anyone to get pissed or annoyed about. Those who are not directly involved can ignore it. Myself and a few others I'm referring to are just pissed and disappointed that the room went on without them when it clearly didn't have to and doesn't have to. Yeah...this stuff happens, people can't get in rooms, NAT crap, people can easily say there are more races, stop whining about missing a race...yada yada, this was totally different and deserves a bit more attention.
I have read the thread...A lot of the post were either originated by me or responded to by me about this topic. Normally I'm pretty quiet and let things roll off. This urked me a bit. I put a lot of time and effort into this race and series as many others did so forgive me if I don't just lay down and take the shaft without expressing my opinions and trying to get someone to objectionally listen. This is not against TORA, it's not their fault. It's not directed to one particular person. However...the quick decisions being made without consulting with those who were basically dooped into missing the races because of reschedule rumors is a bit harsh. F lobby was never actually discussed but rather swept aside while D and a few others were discussed. Its been the..."F room ran races so they're done". That's crap. So it doesn't matter how many people are missing? What if there were 5 people missing in A room....would the room still have gone on without everyone? I'm thinking NOT. I realize some of you may be sick of hearing about this but there are people from F lobby that got dicked over and not just one or two. It's easy to be annoyed by these kind of posts when they don't involve you. Great...another annoying post about someone not getting to race. Even though there were 5 or so people "missing" in the room it was decided to run the race anyway tho it was common knowledge that rooms were being rescheduled that were missing people. F room should have been rescheduled just like the others. I fail to see the difference between F and the others other than someone deciding to run the race without people present. Why didn't the rooms being rescheduled run the races while there were people missing? Surely they got the rooms up, saw there were too many people MIA and decided to reschedule. My question has always been, without response...who decided that number and what is it? How many people have to be present in a room for the race to run? How many people actually finished the races in room F? How many people waited 45min without an invite or message from room F? Please...look into this stuff before immediate decisions are being made.
I believe in speaking up and expressing opinions most certainly in a forum atmosphere. It helps to keep the masses happy when things can be discussed and not dictated.
And....scene. I'm done.

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
As I explained in an earlier post to you, Lobby F was missing just yourself and one other. MANY attempts were made at sending invites but the guys with you on their FL said you were showing as offline.
We waited and waited oh yeah waited some more. You didn't appear in the lobby until way into the races. Are you seriously telling me you'd want us to drop everything and pick you up when you were extremely late to begin with?
What was occurring last night was way out of our control and all effort was made to keep everyone who could race in lobby and racing.
You make it sound like F was missing loads of people. It simply was not. We held on until 21.30 BST giving everyone more than enough chance to join in the lobby. You simply weren't there.
F ran with the majority and you're getting points for last in F lobby anyway. What's the problem exactly. You're actually benefiting over those who qualified in lower lobbies without actually having had to make any effort. Consider checking these things out before continuing to complain.
The decision has been made. Kindly deal with it.

you say
"Even though there were 5 or so people "missing" in the room it was decided to run"
but if you checked live timing it was only 2 people that didnt get into F lobby
no sympathy from me as in a previous post you said you went offline

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
Fact is though, only 2 people were missing from your lobby, same as my lobby (B), and also lobby G. Lobby F was not "hard done by".
Also, ask anybody from lobby B. I sent out a few invites about 10 to nine I think, and they couldn't get in. I didn't start properly start sending invites out until 9.15-9.20pm, which was 50-55 minutes after qualifying, yet they were all ready to go? Unfortunately tsaFooT and RpM Jammy couldn't join, and we've made the best of a bad situation to help them, and everyone else not "lose" too many points.

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
Ok, so I know you said no suggestions about the cars but I'll say it anyway, though I'm sure that my qualifying time put pay to any chance of it being looked at.
I do think the Porsche needs to be looked at, the only thing it had was traction out of the corner and I had to drive it to the absolute limit to get that time. In the race there was no way I could keep up that pace. I thought I'd put in a goodish lap for Q2 with no real mistakes, but 7 tenths down.
I know I didn't help myself with binning it twice in the second race dropping me to last but still Bullet managed to catch up almost 1000ft and still pass me and I only had slight traffic.

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
is very hard to balance the cars with the varying amounts of skill level and different cars favouring different tracks.
and example being in the TCC our nissan we have been going from winning the A lobby to finding ourselves in C lobby depending on the track.
think we should wait a few more rounds before anything major is changed with the car list

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
I'd just like to express my feelings about the racing,
woo hooo, I'm In for Sunday next week. lol.
It's a shame I don't get my win as I don't think I can replicate it in a full lobby, I know I'll choke. but looking forward to racing again, Lobby D racers seem quite militant reading through these posts, I don't think that's the real racers talking, we did have some great racing and I for one am looking forward to doing it all again. Bring it on boys.

Yeah...I was offline because I was told the races were rescheduled! I was online for probably 3 minutes prior to your invites after I waited and waited and waited. You weren't the only one who waited. Not once did I ask or expect the room to restart when I got in. That's obsurd. However...when I did join there were only 10 people in the room racing. I was under the impression the room was suppose to be full so you can understand why I'm assuming there were more than 2 people missing.

The problem is that...exactly! You think this is about benefitting without effort? About getting points and not caring about actually racing? I don't want points given to me. I don't want to be dropped to the back of F room. Who the hell does? I'm pretty sure this site is about highly competitive racing from top of the list to the bottom. I also would like to believe that leaving people out isn't the first option. How is this complaining anyway? This is a discussion. I am kindly dealing with it. In fact, I think i've been pretty calm about it. Aside from my wheel braking down I have full intentions of being a contender for the driver championship and winning the cockpit so...yeah, this actually means something.
Bottom line...would room A have run missing people knowing all the connection issues and the reschedule rumors going around? HELL NO
That's all great BG but I didnt have connection problems. I was told the races were being rescheduled so I logged off. Simple
Any driver in my position having sat waiting for 45 minutes without as much as a message or invite being told by multiple people that the rooms are being rescheduled would have done the same thing. Obviously room F isn't being re-run and I get that. This is just about the principle at this point and legitimate details being overlooked.

If Lobby A was missing people and they simply could not get in then then they would have run with those people missing. Lobby B and C also had people missing and had to run without them. A was fortunate that everyone managed to get in and get their racing done.
The decision has been made, and Lobbies D, E, H and I will be re-run this Sunday.

You originally said rumours of restarts. If it meant that much to you, I'd have checked it otu for myself before making these decisions, like everyone else.
Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
Whatever...this has turned into something far more complicated than it ever needed to be.
Just looking for a site mod to listen objectionally, that's all.

When the lobby invites were send for Lobby A. Everyone got in. There was 1 person missing, F4H Bullet, who went offline. Lobby A was just about to start Q2. Luckily F4H Bullet came back online. We would have run without him if he didn't come back online.

It happens, I thought lobby 1 was not going to start. I got lucky one of my teammates was able to contact me as I got offline from xbox live. I jumped back on and got to race thanks to my teammate. Had I not looked at my phone I would have missed the race, and been in the same situation. Would I call for complete re-run of the lobby cause I was the only one to miss? No, that be pretty selfish of me and what happens if someone can't make it next week? It's unfortunate situation, but you have to move on. No one here as far as I know gets paid to do this, nor do these guys get paid to run the series and organize everything. They've already stated the lobby will be not be re-run.

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
Just for the record, in both races there were only 2 out of 14 competitors that 'Did Not Start' in Lobby F. This happened in Lobby B as well and 1 person did not start in Lobby C. There is no preference of which lobbies get to run and which don't.
Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
ugh...I agree Bullet but as I said, when I joined the room while they were racing there were only 10 people. Thus...giving me the obvious assumption that there were at least 5 missing. At this point I'm not trying to convince them to re-run room F. That idea is dead. I'm just trying to get my point across.
Obviously I'm not the only person who thought the series was being rescheduled. Unfortunetly for me...I didnt have anyone to contact me. Fuggit

Ok im doing this from my phone so sorry if it doesn't make sense.
I was the lobby host for room F as can be seen by live timing. You said you heard a rumor that the race was going to be rescheduled and went offline, next time I would confirm with the lobby host if these rumors are true or not. When you joined back in there were 12 of us not 10 as you can see on live timing as there is no "DNF" next to their names. We did send you multiple invites in case you were appearing off line. I do appologise that you heard wrong but please next time this happens contact your lobby host and we'llsort this out

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 1 - Silverstone International
Once again thank you to everyone last night. To the ones in charge and the hosts. To all the racers who turned up for Q and then stuck around for ages for Q2. Lots of mixed messages going about that things could be re run next week but all us hosts still trying to get everyone in. Last night was my worst ever night on Forza for Tora. I wasnt even racing I was on to give a help in hand as I knew it would have been a manic night without the xbox issues. One thing I must say DAMN the lap times were close. I sort of form a bond with my lobby for the night and with the guys who was sitting in the lobby for about 45 minutes while trying to get others in and then misunderstanding and starting the race with 5 missing. Luckly for me just sitting at the side of the road I was contactable by Chris who could for the re run due to all the problems so I was albe to red flag the session (sat by the start/finish line flashing my brake lights) yes it was 9 laps in but I feel this was better then finishing the race and finding out after. Well to next week lets hope it runs better
