Can't get the Viper under 1.29.9 at the moment and my tuning only made it slower.

No, you genuinely aren't the only one. Remember, Magictap is one of the fastest drivers on Forza 4.

I'm pretty sure it the car because in your car, the Dodge Viper Comp Coupe 2008 but with Stock build and Stock tune (yup, that's only 730 pi) at Hockenheim National, I am running 1.29.4's with the -15% Power handicap!!!

Just to add weight to it being the car. At Hock National I just ran:

BMW M3 GT2 2009 STOCK build and STOCK tune with -15% Power - 1.28.6 clean

Where as in the McLaren I ran:

McLaren MP4-12C 2011 STOCK build and STOCK tune with -15% Power - 1.29.7 clean

Huge difference!!!

Man, it's times like those that almost make me want to give up, best I did get with a stock build but tuned McLaren while testing was a 27.9, struggling to get much within a second of even that with the McLaren in it's current guise. Sad
