TASCAR 2012 - Round 3 - Sedona Oval - 4th August 2012

Qualifying Format:
-Standard 4 lap settings. With the Grid Formation below the racing surface, every can stay where they are while one driver qualifies at a time. 2 "Flying" Laps to get your best time. Clean laps take priority over Dirty laps. Drivers who finish their 2 Flying Laps, may line up behind those who have not qualified yet.
-Damage will be set to Limited, Collisions to Off so there is no worry of catching someone else's draft.


Race Day Format:
- Race Length is 100 laps, split in half to 2-50 lap 'segments'.
- ONE mandatory pit per 'segment'
- Damage will be set to Limited, Collisions are ON.
----FOR SAFETY REASONS, WITH THE INSIDE BARRIERS ON THE TRACK ARE CLOSE TO THE RACING SURFACE, WHEN GOING FOR YOUR PITS, MAKE SURE TO STATE YOUR INTENTIONS TO PIT TO THE LOBBY SO NO INCIDENTS HAPPEN WHEN PULLING OFF/MERGING BACK ONTO THE TRACK

Caution/Safety Car Speed: 70mph
- Safety Car/Caution
In The case of a Safety Car is called, DO NOT brake to get down to Safety Car speed. this could cause chaos. Let off the throttle and let the car slow down on its own. During the Safety Car period, Everyone forms up Single-File until everyone has caught up, then the field should reform into 2-by-2 formation for the restart.
- During Safety Car
While under the Safety Car, drivers may pit and use their 'Mandatory' pit for that session/stint. Anyone who may be a lap down can get a lap back (but not those involved in bringing out the Safety Car).
---A Safety Car can be called up to the penultimate lap of the Race, and thusly the final lap will end under caution, and go into "Green-White-Checkered" rules once all competitors are back to the main lobby. If there are not enough laps to have a "Green-White-Checkered" under the Scheduled distance, the final laps can be run at a faster pace to complete the laps, BUT NO PASSING IS ALLOWED!!!

I should be good for this, but I suspect I'll be the tiredest man in the world, spending all day on track for real along with UK II Blackbird.

Just not a good time from me. cuts into takin my 4 yo to the pool and other stuff since i work till 12 most sat. Got to have that fam time.

OUT for today. More relatives showed up at the house late last night. My arrs is dragging.

Sixth. I can live with that. I ran like crap in every practice, and in qualifying too. Then I threw everything I could think of within the rules to loosen the car up and finally gained 1.5 seconds come race time.

I don't think so. I told the wife I'd only run about half the races, so I picked the oval half. I didn't expect to be so high up in the points, but I did give her my word.

Abit gutted that ill be missing the benchmark race as id love to defend my win round there. Last night went really well for me with no testing and no tune, pitted early in the 1st half and keep the car clean to finish 2nd with the 4/5th fastest car so chuffed!

Feel im much better at ovals than thecircuits so I hope to keep climbing the championship table!
