Corvette Help

Hello!
Im having alot of issues with this corvette my team is using. It is my first seaon in a organised online series so i under stand i have lots to learn .However im not seeing this car near the top of the time charts. Is this car just a duff car?
I need some pointers tuning the car. I got it down to a 1.54.8xx last race (practising not in the race) but that was with a full aero package which left the car very open to overtakes on the main straight. Also in hindsight the lack of overtaking places on mugello made for a fast qualifing car but when in traffic a slower race car.
My issues with the car is outright straight line pace (with or without aero) and slow exit speed on corners.

So im bascially asking for some body to lend a hand with looking at my tunes and seeing if im making some large mistakes with the car. Ive ran road america but again it seems miles of the pace.

If it's any consolidation I can't get the Viper round in anything less than 2.11.5xx and that's with no aero.

I'm not a tuner tho, I just tinker.

The Corvette with the restrictions currently in place is not as fast as the other cars, apart from the Viper. Reason being it doesn't accelerate like the other cars.
