It's a good point this. I will defernately concede that I'm not as good as those who are normally at the top of the grid, including yourself. Which is why I was extremely surprised to have beaten F4H Mopar in the same car by 4 hundreds of a second, according to the times. Dead chuffed with that. Very Happy

The Balancing seems to be very good, every car I made in the clubman class had times within half a second of each other, I know the difference between the times I have set in the clubman class and the fastest times are purely down to driver.

take the z4 gt3 cars, Simon can really quick in the z4 while I cant, in the ford we are on equal terms and other cars I am quicker.....why............because we have different driving styles.

The car list is fine next

Sorry to disappoint ya Dan, but all those times I've posted were just quick little sessions with just some gearing adjustments.

After narrowing the cars down to a couple, I went back and did a little more tuning and laps, and got the Aston to a 1:56.895. Cheers

Like Dan and I are both running the Aston with the same tune, and run the same lines and same gears round each and every corner, but he's 3-4 seconds quicker than me, it's weird how driving style alone can separate peoples times so much, but I guess that's racing haha

Style, but more importantly ability. Some people simply are not as fast as others. It all depends on how you drive the car, the lines you take and your understanding of the car on the track.

You're forgetting 2 very important things. Braking and acceleration. Most time is gained because of that, and of course your line in a corner.

The Clubman field is starting to shrink, with Rogue and MKR joining forces and no drivers being fielded in the AAR car. I am balancing the remainder of the field, so Production GT is now closed and Clubman entries have been increased to 12.

Any new entries will be made into the Clubman class, so if you know anyone who enjoys racing B class cars either in production lobbies or leader-board running then let them know this is happening and they could be in an incredible weekend long race!

hey im new to TORA (I know of it) and was wandering about the Endurance Race at Silverstone if i could run as a guest in some of the qualifying/practice sessions. as none of my club members do TORA events so dont have a team. i want to partake in the qualifying/practice sessions so i can get a feel of what its like as i want to compete in a series sometime in the future. i do alot of online racing on FM4 so im not new to racing in full lobbies etc. i have already made a car, its a #4 Corvette Racing ZR1 [PI 756].
any help on what to do would be appreciated

nath your welcome to join in any of the practice sessions providing there is room as it comes on a first come first serve basis .

plus if your not to intrested in joining the britcar race you could take a look at the GT series .

i have checked and my car meets all the regs but here are the stats just in case i made a mistake

ok so assuming my car is correct how do i register to join in on the practice sessions?

The TORA GT list for Britcar is full, however as Endurance racing is all about doing a stint or a few in a team with other drivers you can race with them.

RubbinsRacing Motorsport are the only team with an empty seat in a Corvette, so I would advise asking them if you can join them and then start practicing with us to see how you get on.
