Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 3 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca- 2nd September 2012
I apologise to everyone in A lobby for the start. I can't remember who's lobby settings I had, but the per car roll-off timer was a bit too long and the GTC cars finally caught up on the start/finish straight. As a result, we started about 40 seconds after lobby B so don't worry about the results too much. I'll make sure I will reduce the timer next time.
Apart from one or two issues, what a great race. Such a contrast compared to last weekend. Everyone of the GT & GTC drivers were exellent at keeping to their racing lines as I came up to lap you guys. And the communication between everyone was good as well so huge credit to you all.

If i'm reading the results correctly, ATR Dan is the winner with me 2nd? wow! thats awesome! Congrats to ATR DAN!
And the 5 other cars on the same mile for 3rd...wow thats amazing! so close!
Im very thrilled with my result, too bad I have a championship to *hopefully* take in Formula Forza so I won't be making too many appearances until the last few events.

I'm pretty sure Robthegr8 was and finished ahead of me in lobby 'E'. I guess this doesn't really matter since the overall order is right, but the finish positions in the E lobby seem off.
Good race by the prototype drivers - everybody was patient and smart! Thanks guys.

@Mopar4t4:
Cheers mate. It's great to bring Aston Martin Racing their first victory. Many congratulations on your second place finish.
Also, massive congrats to my team mate Louis for his podium finish. You've finally managed to beat your old team as well!!

Awesome race tonight in Lobby B had an epic battle with Ian m, id catch through the bends but he would jus bullet on the straights leaving nowhere to really make a move!! Amazing how hard it is to fight for places when thers LMPs trying to pass all the time. Great fun, cant wait for the next round, thanks again guys
Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 3 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca- 2nd September 2012
a little gutted to find that i actually finished 4th overall. i did all i could to keep pace with the guys in A lobby, but aparently came across the line @ the same time LMR Claim did.
Still a far better result after the mishaps at Sebring and Sunset Reverse

Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 3 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca- 2nd September 2012
still in lala land after. I was expecting to finish mid pack, yet I place 2nd overall. Very happy to say the least. I just saw the revised results and damn we were very close from 2-4th.
Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 3 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca- 2nd September 2012
May I suggest that all entrants who have not already done so, take a moment to read the rules and regs for this series (and any other they're signed up for) as next time, when I refuse to "be flexible" and allow someone to "sign IN" with 8 minutes to go before qualifying, even though the forum thread has been open all week, Live Timing has been up and had a Race Control message stating the sign-up cut-off date and time, you may take offense. I WILL NOT be doing it again.
I DO NOT appreciate being called "a dick" when I'm absolutely busting my ass getting things organised, which is hard enough with the many people who HAVE read the rules and HAVE posted "IN" to help us get things prepped without any last minute faffing around.
I've been flexible to a point up until now (using discretion if someone contacts me because they forgot to post IN or something, if they message me with enough notice, and I'm not already inundated with organisational stuff), but if I get accused of "favouritism" because I allow someone in with 30 mins to go before qually because it doesn't have a major impact, and then refuse someone with 8 minutes to go because I've got a million other things to think about, I have to say enough is enough.
You guys should know the rules, so going forwards, if you fail to post "IN" before 19:00 UK time on race day, you are "OUT", and you can call me a dick to your heart's content.

Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 3 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca- 2nd September 2012
Love to stay 3rd overall on all time wins but Dan and Carerra are very quick drivers so good luck to them and the other drivers in the ISCC championship.
To be 1 second away from a top 10 and starting from the pitlane im very happy basically 3 stops so Id love to take away the time i lost pitting and see where I really would have came!

Fine job to RR BodyRollin on his first ISCC win. It also feels good to have both drivers for BVDG on top. We have had a driver in the top 2 at each race, so far. Maybe we can get Lamborghini into the top-5 on the all-time wins list. ;-)

Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 3 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca- 2nd September 2012
that was a hard hard race. CD195's Mazda was about as wide as the goddamn titanic. so i couldnt get by until about half way through...
started to catch duncan, but it was only an hour race so i had no more time...oh well, i'm happy with the podium.
i loved the lambo when i was racing in it with M&M
race win in a Lamborghini crew, holla...

Re: MSA TORA ISCC America Round 3 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca- 2nd September 2012
Lobby C was excellent. After Third Eye Girl had me sweating under pressure the first few laps (fantastic paint btw) things got a little bit lonely for me, but the P1 and 2 cars were brilliant at passing cleanly, no silly moves, good communication.
The slightly slower roll off speed on the restart was better, on the first try, I set off last, and was at race pace the whole lap trying to catch up to the pack!
I think however, that the rest of the lobby wasn't quite so incident free, I can't really comment as I didnt see any of the bumps, but I was scared at the very end by an almost stationary P2 on the start finish straight, with a GTE Porsche trying to pass me at the same time!

Sounds like it was a good race, congrats to M&M in P2 for their podium and in GTC for taking in a good points haul

Hi just a question.
Where did 3 miles?
FRH Crazyman 85 instead of 88, 82 instead of 85 LAPI74 miles completed.
Or do not know the rules?

According to your lobby host, the two of you both completed a lap that was started after the chequered flag had fallen and been called.
