Try copying it to a usb... clear the cache, copy it back, clear the cache, reboot... then try to select the device your saved data is on. If that doesn't work copy it back to the usb, and select that when you start the game... There are more in depth ways to get your profile to resave a uncorrupted copy of the corrupted data, let me know if you need more help doing so, if you are so inclined...

If you are lacking a headset, or are having trouble setting one up for whatever reason... Go to your local electronics store (literally any will do...even Target, a supermarket, even some 711's will work). Be sure and bring your xbox headset to compare mini plugs. Look for a "Nokia/Motorola" hands free, wired headset. Make sure it is the one with the mini jack, and only one headphone and a mic. It makes a great backup headset and works in a pinch... EVEN WITH THE INFAMOUS FANATEC HEADSET PORT. They are five bucks or so so u cant beat the price. Oh don't use the extension that may or may not have came with your wheel (if you have one).
