TORA Super Saloon Championship - Rules, Car List, Calendar
CHAMPIONSHIPS:
There will 3 championships for this series. A Drivers' Championship, a Teams' Championship, and a Manufacturers' Championship.
DRIVERS' CHAMPIONSHIP:
Drivers will score points based on their performance in the races, as well as their performance in qualifying. A driver who gets pole position for Race 1 ONLY will score an additional 10 points on top of however they perform during that race. This championship will also include a drop-round, whereby we take away the lowest scoring round in every driver's season.
TEAMS' CHAMPIONSHIP:
Any team that consists of 2 or 3 drivers is eligible to compete in the Teams' Championship. The top 2 points scoring drivers per team will have their points go towards the Teams' Championship.
MANUFACTURERS' CHAMPIONSHIP:
The top scoring car by a manufacturer will score points for them in the Manufacturers' Championship.
RACE MEETINGS:
For qualifying, the lobby will be set to 6 laps. This gives each driver 1 warm-up lap, 4 flying laps, and 1 cool-down lap to get a fast, clean lap. Each meeting would have two 20 minute long races. Both races would be standing starts, with the first race grid determined by qualifying order, and the second race grid determined by first race finishing positions.
CAR CHANGES:
Each team/privateer is allowed to change their car once without penalty. A 5% point deduction will be used for each additional car change.
SUBSTITUTE DRIVERS:
Teams are allowed to use a maximum of ONE substitute driver for the season. A substitute driver is defined as a driver who is not already entered for the team. The substitute driver is allowed to score points for the team as well as score points for themselves in the Drivers' Championship. If a team uses a substitute driver more than once, that substitute is not allowed to score points for that team.

Stonewall, maybe you should start a race thread for sign "IN" purposes?
Damn I want this to happen, I'll be bummed if it doesn't.

Re: TORA Super Saloon Championship - Rules, Car List, Calendar
I sure hope so Bruno. Has anyone heard from Stonewall at all this week?
Re: TORA Super Saloon Championship - Rules, Car List, Calendar
At this point, I think it may be best to postpone this series until after the NAPS and move it to Tuesdays.
Re: TORA Super Saloon Championship - Rules, Car List, Calendar
Could, but, I think that is when the next TCC series is looking to kick off.
If there any more interest in running this I could host a race for this tonight. If that falls through, it may just end up turning into a Britcar test session.

Re: TORA Super Saloon Championship - Rules, Car List, Calendar
I wouldn't be able to make it tonight... working late. I was hoping that this series would take off, but I guess I may be among the very few who did.
And I was told to expect a rather long break between TCCs this time around... Has that changed?
