Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 6 - Infineon Raceway Long (9th Sept)
A mixed race meeting for myself. Race 2 wasn't as bad as the Nurburgring but some of the driving was still marginal or bad.
Recieved damage in both races, but had some good racing with CQR D4NI3L in both races. Pitty the damage I suffered prevented me from holding him off. lol

Enjoyable races tonight - great fight with Koenigsegg in race 1 and an action packed race 2, lots of overtaking. Congrats to VtecTorque and Jono on their first wins :-)

Lobby D Hosting was easyer than expected racing very close and majority clean.
My race 1 was good after a Terrible Quali's (12th)managed to get P6.
Race 2 however not so great Good start avoided a incident but found a car impacting my rear at the next turn damn porsche design with engine ion the rear....ended up 12th unlucky to Bloody cain who lagged out leading Race 1, and Gunnerman1100 who lagged out ahead of me with 3 corners till the end.
Anyways sorry if my hosting skills were shamefull. lol

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 6 - Infineon Raceway Long (9th Sept)
it seemed my teammates Ianmr and Richy59's Lambo(s) were better setup than my own (had used the Nurburg Gp tune, with added downforce. didnt give myself much time to tune), but made my lambo extra wide in both races. some good clean racing around me in both races in C lobby.

Just noticed that someone didn't serve their grid penalty at this meeting, unless the Live Timing wasn't updated with this info.

Very bad luck for Blackbird that was yours mate, had settled of 2nd, but great racing you as always.
Special shout out for Overdrive with some great racing in Race 2 and thanks to my stable mate Bli33ard for helping me out.
Congratulations mate, as always great racing with you, Happy Birthday. I also have to shout out to overdrive and Bli33ard, nice close racing with you both with only the slightest of touches with I would say no blame and no advantage taken. Looking forward to Suzuka now, I'm IN

I believe it would have been added after super pole.

Incident involving CQR CHRIS #140 & adder20 #669
Following investigation by the stewards, the following decision concerning the incident between CQR CHRIS #140 & adder20 #669
A verdict of "5 Place Qualification Penalty" has been given to adder20 to be served at the next GT meeting. The stewards feel that adder20 left his braking too late and crashed into the back of CQR CHRIS causing him lots of damage.
Looks like adder was missed off, will have 2 add next round will make sure on stewards outstanding penalty's.

5 place reduction after lobby quali.
I was 22th. with the 5 place I am 27th. 14 cars in A lobby and 14 in B. You do the math......
Was the 5 place reduction in that 2 lap quali, I was last in that session......
So I did my penalty this race.
And Haburi, Every wrong step that CQR is going to make I will also take notice and tell the staff.

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 6 - Infineon Raceway Long (9th Sept)
This was my first time in A lobby and I'm quite happy with the results ( in race 2). In race 1 I was doing really good laps (same as my best practice laps), but that was not enough to gain anything, so I finished same as starting position. In the second race I expected to lose many places, but I managed to stay in 2nd through the first corners and could keep up the speed with CQR Jono. A few times I came very close, but there was no real overtaking opportunity. I'm really glad that the race wasn't longer, as then I would have likely been caught by VtecTorque, who was just flying.

Yeah, we had some good battles tsaFooT - it's great to enjoy some racing where people don't just try to barge their way through
I suppose I can use this now
No particular need for it in this post but why not

Maybe if more people took it upon themselves to think like a steward we wouldn't be having the current issues with driving standards. Once again last night it appears some people have little/no respect for other drivers - in fact from watching the replays it nearly all stemmed from one racer. The same guy has done it in every race that I've had the displeasure to share a track with him - he even had the audacity to announce last night that 'I can't race without hitting people'
Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 6 - Infineon Raceway Long (9th Sept)
Bit of a mixed bag.
Got my RL qualifying timings mixed up so missed qualifying!
In lobby E then instead of my usual D.
Thankfully superpole did the trick and got pole for the race. kept it clean for the first few corners and from then on managed to pull away to take 1st - but now with the prospect of starting at the rear.
Race 2 was looking interesting - took it easy for the first few corners giving plenty of space. Then at the bottom of the hill there was a coming to of some cars and whilst most of the field managed to get through i got collected by one of those involved. Major aero damage all round. Major disappointment. Still finished the race but the car was now pish.
See you all next month for Suzuka where hopefully i'll make qualifying proper!

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 6 - Infineon Raceway Long (9th Sept)
The stewarding exists for a reason, to ultimately improve driving standards and race etiquette within our racers.
We did take note before the race that penalties had to be served, but we missed out on adder.
It is good that our members are pointing out any slip ups and issues that we missed and need to come to our attention. I don't appreciate people trying to call each other out for playing by the rules and following the stewarding guidelines. If you don't want a penalty then drive better and safer on the track, and maybe this mess won't happens again.

Like I said in a previous post I did do my penalty this race.

In this case we have a different opinion because I see it as squeal( is that the right word?).
Also I didn't appeal to the penalty and I won't do it now either but I had with that situation also another opinion..

I think you owe CQR HABURi an apology as
a) He was correct (penalty not applied)
b) He's perfectly entitled to bring an administrative oversight to the attention of the staff
