Track selection for next season

hey guys. i just ran a few laps around Road Altanta, and I feel that track feels much better than the 8.44 mile Le Sarthe track.

How does everyone else feel about replacing LeMans with its' 'Petit' LeMans venue??

I thought Le Mans was brilliant.

Didn't get a chance to run Le Mans this season, but when we did on Forza 3 it was epic. Plenty of carnage... but epic!

Id like to see it switch

If we are going to replave the Benchmark Oval race, could we replace it with the D layout (Pocono)? The truck race there last season was epic.

I'd like to nominate Suzuka East, as that variant was used by (if not created for) NASCAR in 1996.

Suzuka East, definitely.

I'd also love to use the full Sears Point.

I'd also add a vote for the second Sunset race to be on the infield.

Possibly even a Silverstone National...but that'd be a stretch.

Silverstone Nat. has been on the schedule since the first season when I wasn't running this series, so I don't think it will be overlooked.

@nickyf1, Suzuka East may be used in an "Off-season" race perhaps after the Nurburg24 event we usually run at the end of the year

How about more road courses AND more ovals. Then have a road course championship and an oval championship in addition to the overall championship.

Could do but its fitting it all into the calendar, TORA does have quite a demand for other racing championships such as DTM/Super GT/V8 Supercars. Id love to see a even spilt next season and that turn 10 gives us COTs!

Two on Sunset Oval, keep Benchmark, add Sunset Infield and Benchmark B.

Keep LaSarthe, add Road Atlanta and Suzuka East.



One more note: as NASCAR does have a regular time slot, but can sometimes vary, how possible would it be if some races were an hour or so early or late to avoid conflict with real world races? Tough to miss half of NASCAR at Circuit Gilles Villaneuve or Road America for an online race... but that would be about the only two NASCAR races I could say that about.

i chose Benchmark "C" for this series, because it didnt go through the Hangars, like Benchmark "B" does. But otherwise, both layouts are technically identical.

I thought B was just a bit longer and maybe even bumpier as well... oh well. Maybe two rounds of C then, but I want to see how it goes this season before I'd request that. Wish that Forza had a couple more short ovals. Something like Richmond/Iowa, and a Bristol.

i once thought Camino Mini would work, back on FM3, but the elevation changes put the axe to that idea. thats just a hair larger than Bristol @ 0.56 miles.

Here's to hoping for what's in FM5 and T10's ties to ALMS..... (Lime Rock anyone?)
