Apologies to gunnersman in 2nd race... absolutely shocking driving from me and I'll put my hands up.
(see Spoon corner on last lap, Lobby C)
Don't worry about it mate all went a bit mad on that corner between the 3/4 of us lol from what I remember I didn't actually lose any places(I think I may have gained 1). It was all good close racing. Sorry you lost out.
Friends ???? lol

BG Beanz wrote:Race 1 was real good for me, moving from 7th up to 5th with relative easy.
Race 2 though was shocking. Managed to move up from 7th to 4th in a few laps, but then got stuck behind Rusty's Corvette. My race can be summed up in four words: "not enough straight-line speed".
Was all over him in the corners, but even with a tow down the long straights i just couldn't get near him. That meant i had to try some unusual lines to try to make the past, in doing so Chaddy passed me, so i had to try some weird moves on him to get past, because of that Box got passed, rinse and repeat until i ended up 8th.
If i could've got past Rusty i would've been well on my way to the back of Wumba and Senna i believe. I'm mega disappointed with last nights races (not because of anybodies driving or anything like that, that was top notch, best and cleanest racing we've had all season) but just because i went with a too high-a downforce setup and paid the price.
I went off in a right huff, still regretting it now.
I can empathise and sympathise with that. I had one chance to get past Rusty at the hairpin, didn't pull it off and then lost a position to yourself immediately... it was downhill from there as I completed my increasingly familiar and dispiriting capitulation.

I had some fantastic racing in both races in lobby C all ruined by one move at the end of race 2, so I too ended up going off in a huff. I spent the whole first race holding off rogue to take my first TORA lobby win, battling through from the back of the grid in race 2 was epic, I had some great tussles following rogue through the traffic, just a shame about the final 2 corners...
Great racing Rogue & Cain, thanks to quite a few others for giving the room to race once you lost the corner.

Yup, looking forward to seeing BG Lucifer's spin coming out of 130R and Spiiderz nearly creaming into one of us - really was a Di Resta/Webber/Vergne moment

Yeah i did to you there exactly what four others did to me! Just pouncing on an opportunity, can't blame them, it's just frustrating to go backwards so quickly when you've got the quicker car! *shakes fist*CQR Cobblepop wrote:I can empathise and sympathise with that. Thinks to Rollin and Aero for both trying very hard to get me into a lobby. Found out my service provider screwed up the settings in my modem, my wireless wouldnt even work. Oh well again thanks guys.
