What an event!! Pitty I lagged out of race 2, but 2nd place in race 1, trying to defend the far superior Jags of D4NI3L and MAGIC. WOW
Well done Chaddy on your results from lobby A this evening. I think you made the most of the opportunity.
Before I lagged out, the driving standards in race 2 has improved immensely so well done lads. Let's keep it up for the remainder of the season.

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 7 - Suzuka GP (7th Oct)
B lobby replays are on mine. Going to capture some bits from Race 1 - crazy close racing with Rollin!!
Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 7 - Suzuka GP (7th Oct)
Excellent racing last night in A Lobby - especially as I found a load of extra pace I didn't know I had
Managed to take an unexpected 6th in Race 1 but Race 2 didn't go so well - quickly dropping to the back of the pack in the first few laps. I managed to battle back up to 9th but had a major incident trying to catch up to the main group, collecting Cobblepop in the process (sorry mate!!).
The most amazing part of the night...................managing to have a battle with TPR b0x and surviving without damage or being punted off the track

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 7 - Suzuka GP (7th Oct)
yeah the driving was 1st class last night in lobby A, Race 2 was just so close from 4th downwards maybe cause I was 4th! LOL
Box was really great I feel maybe thinking of the championship aswell as we've never raced each other before. Really thought he had me at spoon when I ran wide but I noticed I could only just pull back in front. 4th is my best ever GT result after 3 5th places last season.

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 7 - Suzuka GP (7th Oct)
Really enjoyed the races last night - both races were excellent
Scariest moment was early on in race 2 - car had a big wobble coming out of Spoon, slid into the gravel, slow on the straight and then Jono and me go into 130R side-by-side, neither of us knowing if we should lift off for each other, both get a bit out of shape and then Daniel joins in too - all 3 Bulldogs Jag's inches apart exiting 130R. That could have been a team disaster!

The contact we had was arbitrary, I'd already ruined my own race once again
Feeling positive.

Don't think I've had to sweat more than when Senna was hounding me for the whole 2nd race! All in all good clean and fair racing from my perspective in both races.

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 7 - Suzuka GP (7th Oct)
First round in the Vette and came home with a podium for CQR-ish!
Shifty couldn't race after eating bad sushi, and Marty ran off with one of those grid girls!
Hopefully 4 cars next race!
Some great racing lastnight and a good atmosphere, even if i did keep lowering the tone with quick fire inudendos!!

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 7 - Suzuka GP (7th Oct)
Race 1 was real good for me, moving from 7th up to 5th with relative easy.
Race 2 though was shocking. Managed to move up from 7th to 4th in a few laps, but then got stuck behind Rusty's Corvette. My race can be summed up in four words: "not enough straight-line speed".
Was all over him in the corners, but even with a tow down the long straights i just couldn't get near him. That meant i had to try some unusual lines to try to make the past, in doing so Chaddy passed me, so i had to try some weird moves on him to get past, because of that Box got passed, rinse and repeat until i ended up 8th.
If i could've got past Rusty i would've been well on my way to the back of Wumba and Senna i believe. I'm mega disappointed with last nights races (not because of anybodies driving or anything like that, that was top notch, best and cleanest racing we've had all season) but just because i went with a too high-a downforce setup and paid the price.
I went off in a right huff, still regretting it now.
