Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
I hit a dozen laps each in some throw together cars:
Pug 107: 1:04.988
Toyota Aygo: 1:04.990
Abarth 500: 1:05.008
Seems that these things will be pretty equal at this point.

Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
I managed to get a 1.05.8 with nearly every car and that's without tuning so they are definitely equal...well done

Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
I put up a tune for the 500 and the Twingo, but I suck at racing fwd cars, could somebody run some laps with them and see if they are actually any good? note tune is for Tsukuba.

Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
Just the right after the 2nd hairpin if your line is wrong and the final corner on exit. Otherwise no.
It makes no sense to me that car. Short wheelbase is bad enough, then add rwd and then on top of all that.....rear mounted engine and I almost forgot about the high centre of gravity. These things should never go racing...ever. but its Soooo fast. I recon I could get a 1:4.5 if I used the old tune, but it might take 2 days to do it since I'd be spinning out all the time. The new tune is slower but a lot less hectic.

Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
Smart Car may be fast at Tsukuba, but its instability would be much more noticeable when you go to tracks with faster corners, such as Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca, or Catalunya... in other words: the rest of the season.
Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
1:04.668 at Tsukuba in the Micra with a poor last corner where I lost a tenth.

Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
Doing this championship with the wheel, so not as fast as the pad yet and just getting into the 1:07s, I know it can go faster just hooking it up right at the corners and I seem to be slowing down far too much and not using all the track
Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
Been getting some practice in, hitting mid 1.05s consistently, and know there's time to be shaved off there if I can just put the lap together. But the next time I'll run the car will be qualy now.
Just need to squeeze the balls together and go for it.

Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
I was doing low 1:05s with the odd 1:04.8~9 but now I cant seem to find that pace again.

Re: Jr TCC - Tsukuba - Lap Times
I hit a 1:04.3, but not sure if I can do that again. But 1:04.5 is the pace I am on.
And judging by my history of qualifying, I will be about 1:05.7 when it matters most.
