Michael Schumacher Trubute
in 5 days, comes the complete closing to the greatest Formula 1 career the world has witnessed, most of us should remember his very first race at spa in '91, his first championship that was unfortunately overshadowed by Ayrton Senna's tradgic departure. he joined a plumeting Ferrari and became the most accomplished F1 driver in the championship's history. over his 21 seasons, he has set new records with most championship wins at 7, most consecutive championships at 5, earliest championship one at 11 rounds, largest championship winning margin at 67 points, race wins at 91, consecutive wins at 7, wins in single season-13, wins with 1 team, 72 wins, wins at same track- 8, longest race winning seasons- 14 years, 32 days, second places- 43, podiums- 155, podiums in 1 season- 17, championship points- 1560, points finishing races- 220, races/laps/distance led- 142 races/5111 laps/24144km, pole positions- 68, fastest laps- 77, double (pole and win)- 40, and that's just to name a few. he has a record (in itself) of 37 records in F1, and is unquestionably the greatest forumla 1 driver that has ever lived.
so goodbye goes out to a boyhood hero, one we all loved and cheered for no matter your team. as he closes the book to a racing era he shared with the likes of Mansell, Prost and of cause Senna who raced in a time with no electonic assists, white nuckle racing and screaming V12s and tubocharged V10s, the fastest and most dangerous circuit cars of all time.
so as one final farewell, to the greatest driver the sport has seen, i will be host a 2 lap formation and tribute lap of the Hockenheimring to pay our repects to the greatest driver in formula 1 history. the even will be this saturday, the 24th October, at 10 am GMT for anyone who wants to join.
you can use any car you want, but in the best sense, it would be prefered if it was a ferrari or mercedes as they were the teams he raced for.
thankyou and we will all miss you michael

Well said mate, Schumi is well dry. Don't understand why so many people hang out the back of him. Clearly it was all the car when he was at Ferrari and that shows since he came back. He's dirty and arrogant and I won't miss him at all.

Re: Michael Schumacher Trubute
Before he drove in Benetton, also the car?
Bull.
He was a winner and couldn't stand losing ( multiple examples but I will give 2, Hill in Adelaide ( nice circuit to drive first f1 playstation 1...). Villeneuve on Jerez.)
He just came back in F1 to get 100 victories but he was too old and the car not good enough.

Re: Michael Schumacher Trubute
Well he had moments of madness but he was a great driver too. His best moment has to be Hungray 1998 with Monte 1997 a close second. Who knows what would have happened had he signed for McLaren in 1996 as he was very close too.

Re: Michael Schumacher Trubute
Even at Benetton that car was one of the best two cars on the grid. Yeah he's a good driver, but if it wasn't for Ferrari dominating the sport so much he wouldn't have been as successful as he was I'd bet. It was him and Ferrari that put me off watching it. So boring.

Re: Michael Schumacher Trubute
Is it not Vettel & Red Bull that make it boring now? F1 will always have superior cars, but the driver is what gets it to the flag.
Rubens never won a championship in equally dominating machinery & had 2 chances (Ferrari & Brawn)
What ever you think of him, Michael IS the most successful F1 race driver ever. And he deserves respect for that.
