Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
If anybody is looking for a good livestream try out this link: http://www.firstrow1.eu/sport/motosport.html
There are a few adverts, but all of them are able to be closed. You usually have to wait for a timer. Sometimes they also hide the 'Close' buttons the crafty buggers.
But yeah, this is the best stream i've found for watching NASCAR and it works just as well for F1.
Hope I help some of you guys! If you need any help just ask

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
End of the race shows why team orders suck.
Bad feelings all round instead of a great race ending celebration
If one car cant make it then its rude to hold the other teammate back.
I know it can make sense and be a good tactic in the long run.
Maybe a team should openly nominate a number one and say the 2 cars job is to help the team. Then its easier all around

stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid
why vettel, you stupid incompetent argh!
what happened to team orders, webber did what was said, therefore he should have the right to win, not you, you selfish, high-ego [Censored], now, all of australia is fuming more over you, yes, we all love a win, but thats just selfish.
if i was webber, i would've just slapped him, argh, watching this is so infuriating!!!!
i guess there's always next week, but if i was nico or mark, it'd be having a stern talking to my team mate and boss,
sorry if i sound like a one-eyed fanboy, but no one likes seeing this, no matter who you go for

What an anti climactic race...
Alonso's early exit really robbed the race of a decent fight, IMO.

It wouldn't shock me if Webber calls it a day over that, the way he was talking in the interviews points that way. Vettel's lost alot of respect now.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Vettel shouldn't be apologising, if he holds his head high and says "I dont care what anyone thinks" I'd have a lot more respect for him, but thanks to his lack of guts he's crying to everyone in the team, "I'm sorry I won" stupid boy.
Webber should know better than to be part of a team that has cheated him out of many many things, let alone one mere win.
Not on anyone's side here, nobody has the balls in this sport anymore.
I can see this being the big bait before everyone starts watching the BBC Coverage in china, I will not rise to it

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
tbh, whilst I would have liked Mark to win Vettel did the right thing. He was capable of racing and he went for it. That's what he's there for and to be given team orders like that already this early in the season it stinks a bit.
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
2011 British GP.
Webber was trying to overtake Vettel on that last stint but was shot down by Christian Horner. He desperately wanted to overtake for the win but Horner wanted to bring the cars home, so Webber backed off, and Vettel took his 2348324th win of the season.
2013 Malaysian GP.
Webber backs off to save the tyres/engine after having reassurance twice that Vettel would not overtake him, then Vettel clearly disobeys team orders (as seen in the disgust shown by Webber in the podium green room and in the post race interviews).
Ouch in my opinion, manipulating a situation to give himself an unfair advantage to win the race. One thing to note was Horner wasn't vocal on the team radio as much this time... and who knows? Vettel might have taken them both out of the race at any of those points.
My personal view is I'm happy I've seen a driver wanting to win the race so bad that he ignores his team to get the chequered flag. He's done it for himself, what's the worst that can happen? They probably have put him under a disciplinary or something, internal fine, w/e. If he does it again would they ship him out, knowing that they can't trust him?
It's going to take a long time for Mark to trust Vettel again.

Why apologise?
It's like saying ''yeah, I banged your bird, right in front of you, about five minutes ago, sorry man''.

LOLLLLLLL
Actions speak MUCH louder than words, you'd never hear 4-time champ Prost apologise about something like this. Ruthlessness is probably what you need to achieve that much!
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Unluckiest driver of the day? No, not Webber. But I believe it was Paul Di Resta. He was extremely fast throughout the race & 2 incredibly lackluster pit stops cost him a good haul of points.
Shame on Vettel, but still, I can never see Mark winning a championship anyway.

Yeah Di Resta was quick, set the fastest lap of the race twice while fighting up the field.
Could we see Buemi in the car later in the season?
And whats all this about Kovi being with Caterham this weekend?

Yeah Ted Kravitz said that didn't he. Proper random... remember the last time a shared car drive happened? Wasn't it RB in '06? Klien and Liuzzi? Terrible.
But Bianchi is really impressing at the moment, I'm sure he'll be mega in the Ferrari one day.

Webber purposely slowed down because the team told him to do so. Vettel was also ordered to slow down. Vettel sees Webber has slowed down and immediately tells the team to move him out of the way and DOESN'T do what was told of him.
IMO Vettel is in the wrong. Not only did he not obey team orders, but he nearly wrecked both cars with his reckless actions. As Horner said "...you still have some explaining to do". But Webber is right, nothing is going to happen to him because he's the pretty boy. I used to like Vettel, but now I don't. That was CHEAP. Cheap cheap cheap cheap cheap cheap.

Then we see what happened with Ferrari last season. Alonso up front fighting for the win and Massa being a complete no-show. Stupid idea IMO. ESPECIALLY this early in the season.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I don't like team orders. I am happy that Vettel disobetyed, and would have been twice as happy had Nico done the same on LuLu.
I know that teams have been cheating fans out of real racing forever, but that doesn't mean I have to like or accept it.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Agreed, the drivers should just be allowed to race. It was close, fair and exciting. That's what we want to see as racing fans. Not team orders in the second race of a 19 race season.
Also, to help Lewis in the future.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Team orders....guys serious lets say you work for red bull in the factory on R&D.
You get a team bonus the higher the team finishes in the constructors championship, thats why we have team orders its not for you or me, its for the employees who earn a living working for a team.
50's team mates used to swap cars during the race
60's - 70's rev ranges were agreed between team mates
80's ferrari team mate wars which ended in tragic circumstances
I can go on.
Team orders are there for a reason in all forms of motorsport, what this shows is a lack of respect.
I agree I would of been fair play if vettle had stated end of race yea I won and, but no he apologised thats what makes this even harder to take on board.
